Greetings! I recently built up enough dust to craft a legendary and went with N'Zoth, the Corruptor and I've been experimenting with it in several classes. My collection isn't the greatest, but I keep it fairly up to date in my profile. I wanted to get some feedback from more experienced shaman players on any improvements I could make. Just a quick note regarding my collection: it's a bit light on TGT cards, and I'm reluctant to craft any, since they'll be relegated soon. With that said, here's the deck!
Concerns: it's a bit heavy on overload, and with only one Lava Shock, at times I can get in a mana bind. Card draw is also an issue, and I'm not sure I have enough answers for aggro. I played one game in Casual and beat a Jade Druid, but one game means next to nothing. Any suggestions, comments, or even outright ridicule are welcomed and appreciated.
More early game. For instance, why no Totem Golem? Also, i'd get a Charged Hammer and Healing Wave.
Those are all TGT cards I don't own, and as I said I'm reluctant to craft from that set since it's rotating out soon. I do have a Doomsayer, I'm just not sure what to swap it with.

Old school WoW Mage motto: if you don't end the run with the most damage dealt AND the most deaths, you're not trying hard enough.
@Caddage Have you considered Hallazeal the Ascended. Combined with Elemental Destruction or Lightning Storm it can really seal the game for you. Against aggro specifically I'd add Doomsayer. I think you should take out Doomhammer and Rockbiter. There are basically only two deck types you will face on ladder right now: Pirate decks and Reno decks. Against the Pirates you need to control the board and heal to win. If you are dead by turn 4 or 5 then Doomhammer will be a liability in your hand. And against Reno decks your N'zoth and Ancestral Spirit combos will often be more than enough.
In my experience playing Reno N'zoth Paladin, if you play the game right it is very difficult to lose to Reno Mage or Renolock (Priest is a different story cuz Entomb is super annoying, but at least Reno Priest is uncommon). Just don't play your best deathrattles first to avoid Polymorph, don't play N'zoth until you see the Twisting Nether or Sylvannas + Shadowflame etc. As long as they don't get crazy lucky, like Dirty Rat pulling out N'zoth or get the 10 mana Sheep potion, you should be fine. As an N'zoth deck I feel comfortable drawing as much or more than the Reno deck since I have more big threats that I can draw into. Sometimes you can just over run them.
You definitely need more early game minions and healthy minions like Twilight Drake or Refreshment Vendor. More value cards like Mistress of Mixtures, Jeweled Scarab and Lotus Agents. Maybe replace the 2 mana 2/3 weapon for Charged Hammer or Hammer of Twilight. It's just all about the value so try not to have low value cards for a deck like this with n'zoth and reno. I know charged hammer is from the tgt set, but it's too good not to mention for a control deck. Lastly, try to make it adaptable as possible to the meta... you know, all the pirate decks, the rare but strong dragon priest counter, and other stronger reno decks.
Because you got totems, having Spawn of N'Zoth or Anubisath Sentinel to buff those on death and return as a buffer with N'Zoth probably wouldn't hurt.p
do not use ancestral spirit on white eyes, it will deactivate your reno. also you have alot of terrible cards in your deck, bog creeper is questionable, infested tauren sucks, stormforged axe sucks, fireguard destroyer sucks, and a few others that are questionable like having too many things that draw or discover and not enough cards that do things. also switching to wild makes this deck alot more powerful and fun
do not use ancestral spirit on white eyes, it will deactivate your reno.
I didn't even think about that tbh, it would be really bad when you need reno.
Regarding to the deck post, It looks like your low on draw cards. Even if you are or not, I believe you still need a decent amount of draws in case you need to cycle cards or to keep up with the other player, not too much since your a control deck. Just enough to keep aggro decks pinned down and enough to keep up with control decks to outpace them a little or even to Fatigue.
You could consider cards like Ancestral Knowledge, Loot Hoarder(pairs well with N'zoth), and Acolyte of Pain. You can even get cards like Fight Promoter or Wind-up Burglebot but its a little risky in the current meta. But I would recommend Sir Finley Mrrgglton for Life Tap or at least a better hero power, and Elise Starseeker a good 4 drop for early mid game,a delayed card draw and Elise helps out for the late game after N'zoth, in case it got dealt with. You could possibly trade these cards out for, Jeweled Scarab, and Lotus Agents or anything you want to switch out, up to you. And a Mistake that I made about recommending the card Refreshment Vendor... You can easily swap it out for Jinyu Waterspeaker basically trading 1 overload, +1hp and direct healing for any character or try to keep both for more healing.
Edit: This deck looks really good, and a lot better than my Jade/N'zoth shaman. I might try it out and try to give more feed back, and how's the deck working for you @caddage ?

Unless you've already used Reno. ;+)
The deck has been a bit clunky, which I suppose is to be expected from a highlander deck, but also has to do with my limited selection. Had a rough game against a highlander priest who dropped Raza the Chained and Justicar Trueheart on curve, but that's a bad day for anyone. Card draw is an issue, and Ancestral Knowledge is not in my collection, so I'm debating whether to try and add more cycle, or abandon Reno altogether and double up for consistency; I just don't know if I'd have enough heals without Reno. Maybe The Curator?

My favorite deck in the ENTIRE game is N'Zoth shaman. From my experience, you would be better off adding ooze, dirty rat, mc tech, healing wave, hallazeal, thing from bellow/fire elemental to help against agro. Also you may want to consider the 2/4 weapon that replaces your hero power with "deal two damage". Good luck!
Yeah after trying the deck vs the meta, it didn't really work out too well, maybe you should abandon reno and just make a consistent deck like n'zoth shaman, or try it out in wild like what ur2ezchaos recommended. I seen kripparrian made a reno shaman work once but back in a different meta, with all the different types of shaman decks going around. idk, keep trying maybe, or just concede to n'zoth shaman which is a lot more viable. Reno with just isn't needed when they have a lot of healing already.
I've tried playing Charged Hammer, but it seems to clunky. Might try it again sometime, but not sure what to cut. I probably should cut Infested Tauren, but I'm not sure Charged Hammer is an appropriate replacement. I think I'd rather try Dirty Rat.

Don't have Hallazeal the Ascended, but dropping Doomhammer and Rockbiter Weapon makes sense, as they're more tempo than control. Twilight Drake, Refreshment Vendor, Mistress of Mixtures, Jeweled Scarab, and Lotus Agents are all available to me, so I'll definitely be adding them. Maybe a Defender of Argus as well? Thanks for the feedback, guys, I'll see how it goes.

For this deck I think a Second Rate Bruiser or Senjin would probably be better than Defender. Try out your new deck list and let us know how it goes.

If I recall, Ancestral Spirit DOES NOT sync with N'zoth.
Because you got totems, having Spawn of N'Zoth or Anubisath Sentinel to buff those on death and return as a buffer with N'Zoth probably wouldn't hurt.p
It actually does, when you Ancestral Spirit a deathrattle card like White Eyes, and it dies twice, N'zoth does summon 2 of them back.

Should you craft/disenchant (Golden) Sylvanas or Ragnaros?
