Rogue was broken, it's just a long time ago now so people seem to have forgotten it. Edwin literally used to have stealth in a format with less good removal and where the majority of things were targeted. Conceal used to be 0 mana. Backstap used to just deal 2 damage to a minion without the requirement of it being undamaged. Shiv used to be one mana for the same effect. Defias Ringleader used to be a 2/3 which meant if you had this with coin on 1 you basically won the game. Auctioneer used to cost 5. (now it's not a Rogue card but it may as well have been) Vilespine is insane. Tomb Pillager was also very good (perhaps not broken, but not far from being it)

Hell, even Rogue's Hero Power used to be broken.
Any more arguments or does this settle it.
This is before I even played but I did know about it.
Rouge was always super broken and mediocre cards is they way they nerf it. Give rouge a sniff of a good card (Quest, Kingsbane) and look what they can do.

So...
Then rogue classic cards are so freaking good the solution is never, ever, give the class a broken card in expansions, don't matter if they release 5, 50 or 500 expansions.
That is it?
If this is correct I one more player asking for the rotation of classic set.
"Why do everyone else get to play broken stuff but Rogue? It's not like my class has caused several nerfs throughout the history of Hearthstone. It's not like my class has been relevant in almost every expansion since forever. I just want to play broken stuff because other classes has done it"
Jesus christ...
The issue with that is many classes that have broken cards often do not actually have those cards nerfed, while this is the case for rogue. Gul'Dan anyone? Infinite value removal (while other control classes like mage or priest has limited removal), plus huge swing turns & super fast stabilizing against aggressive decks. Neither Defile nor Godfrey nerfed (both super effective wide & tall removal). Hunter and paladin are also in a similar state. Indirect nerfs for other classes that leave their decks intact, direct nerfs for core rogue cards that kills the viability of the deck in roughly a third of the cases.
Rogue is the whipping boy for T5's love children *winkwinkwarlockwinkwink*.
3 mana Nourish is a lot better than Yogg 2, Yogg 2 is only good because of every other card in the deck, 3 mana Nourish is good because it's good.
It is not Nourish for 3 manas, it is a bit worse than that because:
1- Rogue weapons don't is good enough to put many of them, 2 or 3 maximum, in many cases you don't will draw the 3 cards, of course you can use Kingsbane but you have to spend a lot of slots to pump the weapon + a lot of slots for the pirates, testing many builds right now and something important will missing, removals, techs and silence, you don't have room for everything, my actual build don't use Kingsbane but x2 the weapon give you immune.
2- Combo require, you don't always have a 0 manas card to play before.
3- It is limited to a very specific deck, Nourish can be used in all druid decks.
Edit: Don't get me wrong, it is a very good card, Vilespine level of good, I just don't convinced yet it is broken like 4 manas CtA.

That’s the whole point of the arguments from Brian Kibler .
Why did Druid only got crap this expansion? And why are people whining they always use the same toolbox every expansion ( swipe, growth,Wrath, etc) ? Because it would break the game if one class gets better and better cards equally to other classes.
Wildgrowth , Warlocks Heropower,Fireball/Frostbolt,DivineFavour, Hunters Heropower, Preparation, etc. these are always things they have to evaluate when making a new set.
So yes if you wanna have Rouge getting new powerful cards, old ones need to rotate .
Rogue crying for being weak? What's next; odd paladin crying for not dealing enough damage?
Rogue has the BEST basic-set, the BEST Weapon with Kingsbane (ok, in wild, but there it's insane), always continuous strong decks like Odd Rogue; Miracle and always being in the TOP meta of nearly ANY expansion. Heck, no other class needed to be nerfed as often as rogue because it's so insane.
Sorry, but i really don't have enough reasons to feel pity for rogues. Look what priest got, your cards are phantastic compared to their crap.
And you seem to have forgotten Elven Minstrel; insane value: draw 2 cards, and they are even some sort of tutor-effect, only drawing minions.
But yes, these poor poor rogues...
ALL clases had at any time a really powerful opressive deck. Pirate warrior, cubelock, any kind of druid ever, razakus priest, secret paladin, midrange shaman... The only time rogue had something close to that was Keleseth rogue, and 3 months later went to oblivion when patches was nerfed. Yes, rogue has strong basic and classic cards, but it's really boring being forced to play always miracle since the beta.
Odd rogue is good, but not for any rogue card. Kingsbane can be strong, but it force you to play a polarized deck, like the quest.
Myra's unstable element looks nice, but this card never will make you win a game for its own. Rogue never had a really op card like ultimate infestation, drakonid op, hunter's spellstone (and both heroes) etc.
Anytime there is a themed card for each class, rogue gets the most shitty one. Rogue has the worst spellstone, the worst spirit in rastakhan (maybe not loa, cause all except mage loa looks bad to me), worst dk (yes, is funny, and give value, but is overcosted and not that useful at all).
You talk about preparation as an awesome card. Maybe it is, but is the reason that rogue gets ridiculously overcosted spells (look wanted from witchwood).
the worst Dk is garrosh by far followed by uther, Valeera the Hollowis actually nuts and very helpful and will eventually become the best Dk in wild

You made me smile.

3 mana draw 2 pirates and a weapon !
there it is ur broken card.
Still always tier 1
I like this card a lot but don't prove OP yet.
10 manas DK hunter already does.

The way how I see it, Rogue core set is really good.
Like too good.
Which is why i think the cards received are mostly trash for the most part, with an exceptional handful being exceedingly strong.
That’s the whole point of the arguments from Brian Kibler .

REALLY???? HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF KINGSBANE?? wtf
the worst Dk is garrosh by far followed by uther, Valeera the Hollowis actually nuts and very helpful and will eventually become the best Dk in wild
It's because the Rogue's basic and classic set is already pretty good
Kingsbane and Valeera together make u almost win the game even against aggro
When team5 stop giving Warrior shiit 8 mana lefendaries then maybe Rogue can have some broken stuff, loolz
Warrior doesnt got shit this expansion again
After all we are Rogues ... We steal, we backstab, we poison... Dirty tricks are our domain. They are afraid of shadows because WE are lurking there..
PS. I still did not figure out my deck for RR, and other classes feal much easier to win/play
akali is quite bad though
its called kingsbane and is broken af
