GUIDE
- Mulligan : Always Wild Growth, Jade Blossom in order to accelerate your mana and snowball. If you already have one of these cards, keep Mire Keeper.
Against Aggro Wrath, eventually Swipe, Tar Creeper
- Mid/Late game: You just need to tempo the game until your Jade Golems are stong enough while maintaining control of the board.
You also need lots of draw (Nourish, Ultimate Infestation which can come earlier thant T10 but always take care to overdraw)
Spreading Plague is here in order to tempo against aggro and mid if they are too aggresive in early game (Hello Medivh, the Guardian).
Jade Idol is the key! As the part advances, your Jade Golems will be bigger and bigger and give you the best late game (as always, with druid you can have your late game while you opponent just plays his T5 ♥). Infinite Jade Idol prevent you from fatigue! You need to recycle them and you'll flood the board with strong minions (until 30/30 💀💀).
Most of the time, you put your 1st Jade Idol on the board. But for the 2nd one, you have to make a choice: do you need some pressure on the board right now? Are you going to fatigue?
- Any replacement for..:
- Fandral Staghelm or Aya Blackpaw : No! You just have too much pressure and synergies with this 2 cards. Fandral Staghelm with Jade Idol, Wrath, Nourish.. is so multi-purpose.
- Lots of ajustments are possible: Acidic Swamp Ooze, Golakka Crawler , Dirty Rat, The Lich King, Medivh, the Guardian, Kun the Forgotten King ...
Even Kolento adapts his decklist depending on the matchups.. (you can use updates in order to cut/add adapted cards ).

Why Mark of the Lotus? you should replace him with Gluttonous Ooze
You can play [card]Gluttonous Ooze[/card] if you are against lots of Warrior and Mage (Azoth).
Otherwise [card] Mark of the Lotus [/card] is more interesting. Indeed it's good with Gadgetzan Auctioneer [/card], [card]Yogg-Saron, Hope's End . And it synergizes particulary with [card]Wild Pyromancer [/card], you can clear the opponent's board and protect yours.
What about putting Defender of Argus for aggro decks?
Is this deck viable against pirate warrior/token druid/murloc paladin?
I think that these matchups can be really difficult.. But if you have your wrath, tar creeper, swipe, feral rage.. you can do it! There many taunts in order to counter aggro. Druid jade can't take the board early but against aggro you have the mid, you need to tempo early.
Difficulties of these matchups are you have to play around some cards, for example there is primordial drake which counter living mana so dont play it To early.
Pirate warrior isn't that bad of a matchup surprising. Tech in gluttonous ooze if you're having trouble. Token/Aggro druid isn't that bad either if you get a good start and keep him from flooding his board early. I run 2 hungry crab in my jade deck if that tells you anything about the pally matchup for this deck
What about stonehill defender in place of tar creeper?
Hi, I was trying that but I doesnt work often. I mean: Stonehill Defender is nice cause it give you another taunt and often you can find extra copy of Jade Behemoth, but Stonehill Defender is so weak by himself that he does not kill anything, that means your opponent can develop his board faster and stronger.
Stonehill Defender will die anyway but without trading for anything. That means when you finally have your real strong taunts from your deck, it is too late to defend yourself.
Stonehill Defender is too slow for that fast aggro meta IMHO. I came back to Tar Creeper after some testing, at least it is able to trade for some minions. And you want to develop your jades fast, not wasting time to putting more and more taunts on board without jade synergy.
[card] Stonehill Defender[/card] is a good card but it's strong in order to make value against control matchup. But you are playing Jade, so control is already a free win. You have the late game.
The real problem is aggro matchup. That's why there are two Tar Creeper.
What about Elise the Trailblazer for Fandral Staghelm? Don't have Fandral :C
"Any replacement for..:

Would it make sense to add a Primordial Drake to this deck?
I am running Primordial Drake instead of one Ancient of War.
It is hard to tell which one is better. Primordial Drake's stats are immune to silence, so that is better for sure.
Anyway, everytime I drop Drake or AoW, it became a victim of Hex or Polymorph or some other warrior/rogue combo shit, so it doesnt matter what you use ;-)
If i can only choose between one should I use aya or Fandral
aya for sure
Fandra contributes a lot to this deck. I would and do use him over aya.
I've been playing this deck for a while and I've made these substitutions:
Swipe for Starfall
Golakka Crawler for Tar Creeper
Feral Rage for Tar Creeper
Also, I don't have 2 Ancient of War, so I'm using 1 of those and an Ironbark Protector for now.
Even though it costs more, I find Starfall more flexible than Swipe:
- If you need to clear the board, it's got 2 dmg instead of 1;
- If you need to get rid of a strong minion, it's got 5 dmg instead of 4; and
- If you use it with Fandral Staghelm, it's a 7 dmg on the main target + 2 dmg to the rest, basically a Swipe on steroids (the 9 mana cost of this combo in one turn can be achieved/mitigated by using Innervate)
Golakka Crawler is great against pirate decks, but I find Tar Creeper a strong 3-cost taunt card for the purposes of Jade snowballing, hero dmg mitigation in the early-mid game and spell-targetting of Shadow Word: Pain, since the other cards this spell might be used on (Fandral Staghelm and Jade Behemoth) are way too valuable to be lost with a simple Shadow Word: Pain.
As for the Feral Rage, I rarely used it with Fandral Staghelm and even though I still find it useful, I was already using Bite instead of it and found it more reliable in terms of hero dmg mitigation. Still, I traded Bite for Tar Creeper because of all the benefits I think this card provides to the deck.
I'd appreciate some comments on those trades!
What did you achieve with this deck? I am struggling on R16, suprissigly winning against PW, but loosing terribly to Rogues and Palladins.
This deck is so slow. I like jade's mechanics but it evolves so slowly. Oponent have 4/4 - 6/6 minions while I have just 2/2 gollems and hand full of Innervates, Earthen Scales etc.
Also think that Starfall is more flexible. I have problems to clear the board with Swipe.
I just got as far as R15, but I didn't play that much...
I agree, it's a slow deck if you don't get the luck of the draw, so I've been wondering whether the mana ramping cards should be traded for more early game aggression...
In stead of Ancient of War I use Ancient of Blossoms
