Gameplay from Kadakk :

+77 : Mulligan
Your early game isn't really strong.. So you always want your Kobold Librarian wich give you draw and an early T1.
Then, against aggro you want Mortal Coil, Mistress of Mixtures], Defile and sometimes Hellfire.
Against mid/control, keepPossessed Lackey and Skull of the Man'arinwhich will put lots of pressure on the board. Eventually, keep a Lesser Amethyst Spellstone in order to destroy an annoying minion.
-
+111 : Complete Guide
Early game isn't on your favor but you have many cleans in order to control the board. Then, when you reach T5, you can begin to put pressure.
You have lots of interesting Deathrattles and only 2 demons: Doomguard and Voidlord. So you have many targets for your Carnivorous Cube and Prince Taldaram.
Many combos are possible particulary with Spiritsinger Umbra.
25 DMG Combo : Summon Doomguard for free, play Spiritsinger Umbra and eat your Doomguard with Carnivorous Cube. Then, destroy it with a Dark Pact.
-
+777 : Summon 7 Doomguard Charge Face SMOrc !! Oh wait.. This is already your Bloodreaver Gul'dan

Curse this deck! Curse this deck to Hell!...... I would use it if I the cards for it though.....
Since I don't have umbra or taldram I'm trying a Master Oakheart variant with Tar Creeper. Voidlord Lacky Creeper! Working pretty good so far, kind of a bummer when I pull a Librarian but what are ya gonna do.
Finally have this complete deck! Prince Taldaram is awesome with the combination of Spiritsinger Umbra. Although, these damned paladins are obnoxious and probably the most irritating thing to go up against. I find my self holding on to Spiritsinger Umbra until I can combo it with something in the same turn. I'm scared of playing him then just dying. Anyone have any good suggestions on how to use the two general legendary cards ?
A little late, but here's a few words of advice
Paladin is actually a plus match-up for this deck in my experience, the key is not to be too greedy with your cards -- the general win condition is is to survive until the lategame where you just completely blow them out as they run out of steam. The more you hold onto cards, the more value stuff like Divine Favor is going to get, and they'll just continue to pump out minions after minions and beat you down as quickly as possible. Usually, Spiritsinger Umbra doesn't shine much against this match-up and should rather be used as a body to contest the board, unless you draw it later on and have a solid combo to swing the game in your favor. Think about it: by playing her, the opponent realizes how great a threat she is and often times, it forces them to remove her extremely inefficiently. You could buy yourself a lot of time by doing so. Prince Taldaram is a similar case; often times I see myself using him on turn 3 to copy a Righteous Protector just to prevent my opponent from snowballing too much damage for me to come back from, for instance. An ideal situation would be where you can use him to copy a Voidlord and really stop aggro in its tracks. A lot of this depends on the state of your hand, i.e. if you believe there's going to be a solid Defile turn coming up, it's good to save him for better value later. It's just something you learn better the more you practice.
Against slower decks and more passive decks, i.e. Control Priest and Big Spell Mage, it's usually a bit better to be greedy with combos and save them for as much burst damage as you can, but you can't stall forever. The sheer amount of value in this deck will often prove to be insurmountable for these decks, so it's still good to be more proactive and force your opponent into using removal before slamming them with Bloodreaver Gul'dan (and N'Zoth, the Corruptor if you run him, I'm aware he's not in this decklist but he's an excellent card to run as well).
Hope this helped. Again, about a month late with this, but better late than never :)
Don't have Skull of the Man'ari, so, i guess, its unplayable without it?
While Spiritsinger Umbra isn't required, I doubt you ever take it out of your list after winning probably 6 or 7 games by playing Umbra + Lackey + Dark Pact into Lackey. Can't even clear the Doomguards or Voidlords because they have to get Umbra off the board as quickly as possible or it's gg. I agree with Nittetime wholeheartedly. Umbra brings life to this deck.
But, I can also attest to the fact that it can kind of be a dead card in your hand until 9/10 mana.
Crafted Umbra instead of Tald. While it was mentioned that Umbra isn't necessarily required. It does bring life to this deck.. because it's rather bland. Are there any other useful cards that might work well with this deck besides Zealot ? I've been swapping between zealot and faceless and having mixed success. Getting absolutely rolled by paladins
Any replacement for Spiritsinger Umbra ? Im missing Prince Taldaram and Spiritsinger Umbra , Ive replaced Prince Taldaram with Faceless Manipulator but i dont have one for Spiritsinger Umbra
I don't think Umbra is a must have. You can go with Twisting Nether for another great board clear or Mountain Giant. If you play smart you can have a giant on turn 4 and copy it with Faceless Manipulator on turn 5.
Really late response here: I've cut Umbra entirely: so far I've found that for the play to be worth it it requires you to either have a lot of mana (for consecutive Umbra+deathrattle plays) or a strong board to defend the card, both cases in which the deck already thrives. The card also tends to make you conserve your deathrattles in hope of future greedy plays.
I've subbed in N'Zoth, the Corruptor in Spiritsinger Umbra's place and I've found it a pretty solid alternative, as it allows for a second board reload after Bloodreaver Gul'dan and/or resurrects your Possessed Lackeys if the first one(s) got silenced.
Just make sure you preferably play your Death Knight first, or you dramatically increase the number of Voidwalkers in the "dead demons" pool.
Made it to Legend with this deck, having not crafted Umbra. I replaced it with Spellbreaker and I haven't looked back.
Nice deck
Why is this getting downvoted? He isn't being negative at all, just giving his feedback for how he changed the deck while missing a couple cards.
is Bloodmage Thalnos and Prince Taldaram a must or could they be replaced?
I'd say Tainted Zealot instead of Thalnos and Faceless Manipulator instead of Taldaram.
I'm Running Zola instead of Taldaram. Being able to have another full stat voidlord or Doomgaurd in hand is really nice. She's pretty good early game too if you need another card draw. I opted for 1 Kabal Courier as well because its another early game Zola target. All in all Zola feels much better in the deck because you get better early and late game options. Just my take on it though. I don't run the skull either and do just fine.
what's "T1"?
Turn 1
thank you! <3
