Deck created by Dog on his stream: twitch.tv/hsdogdog
Gamplay from kiwiinbacon :
Gameplay from Kadakk :
-
+77 : Mulligan
Your early game isn't really strong.. So you always want your Kobold Librarian wich give you draw and an early T1.
Then, against aggro you want Mortal Coil, Mistress of Mixtures], Defile and sometimes Hellfire.
Against mid/control, keepPossessed Lackey and Skull of the Man'arinwhich will put lots of pressure on the board. Eventually, keep a Lesser Amethyst Spellstone in order to destroy an annoying minion.
-
+111 : Complete Guide
Early game isn't on your favor but you have many cleans in order to control the board. Then, when you reach T5, you can begin to put pressure.
You have lots of interesting Deathrattles and only 2 demons: Doomguard and Voidlord. So you have many targets for your Carnivorous Cube and Prince Taldaram.
Many combos are possible particulary with Spiritsinger Umbra.
25 DMG Combo : Summon Doomguard for free, play Spiritsinger Umbra and eat your Doomguard with Carnivorous Cube. Then, destroy it with a Dark Pact.
-
+777 : Summon 7 Doomguard Charge Face SMOrc !! Oh wait.. This is already your Bloodreaver Gul'dan
Complete guide in french/ Guide complet en français: Démo Cube

i have umbra and prince taldaram but i miss warlock cards
I know Umbra is very good and essential for this deck but is it really worth crafting it?
If you want to play cubelock you kinda need it. This deck will be around through the rotation as it only loses mixtress currently. I would craft it.
this deck is still excellent without it. it's mostly for fun or if the 25 damage otk actually happens, but umbra still seemed to be useful anyway when you need doomgaurds for some fast board control. it's mostly up to you but you can always replace her with Mountain Giant. if you don't want to craft an epic, another Spellbreaker might work too.
I added nzoth and it works perfect so far. I have a record of 10-3 and mostly lost to aweful draws. you can give it a try
simple answer. yes
I'm a cancer face hunter player and I think this deck need a doomslayer, cause I win a lot of games against this deck just because they don't have a good early removal for a 4/3 and minions like that, just my opinion.
Salty?
If this is cancer, highlander is cancer, jade is cancer, and aggro is cancer, then tell me: what is not?
To make the deck a little bit cheaper, some legendaries can easily be switched.
Bloodmage Thalnos, Spiritsinger Umbra and Prince Taldaram are for sure good cards having a specific power, but you can handle the deck without them using Mountain Giant (or Twilight Drake for even cheaper and still nice when facing priests) or adding another Spellbreaker.
Doomsayer or Earthen Ring Farseer are not so bad too.
For F2P players this deck is more than a little challenging to make... Been playing since the (closed) beta, got Skull from the packs I opened, still missing 7700 (!!) dust for it...
So, I have enough dust for 2 Carnivorous Cube and one legendary. I already have Bloodreaver Gul'dan but none of the others. Is it worth trying to run this deck? I feel like Bloodmage Thalnos could be replaced with Tainted Zealot but any thoughts on the others?
I'm in the same boat as you @azrael94, being about 4300 dust out right now. My point of view - having watched Dog (and several others) play this deck on stream - it is:
1) Undeniably powerful and looks fun to play.
2) Requires every card in the list with substitutes being difficult to work in. Proof to this lies in streamers being unable to really do so and constantly waving off the cost as just something unavoidable.
With the 2nd point in mind, I haven't been willing to craft it - for example I'd need Spiritsinger Umbra, which doesn't feature in any other decks right now so I don't see it as a worthwhile investment of dust. (Dust is limited for me as a F2P player.) So basically -
TL;DR - It looks worth the dust if you'e got it to spare/you don't mind spending a little on a fun deck, otherwise look for cheaper options.
However, It's worth noting that there are similar decklists that run similar lists but with a few differences (such as no Spiritsinger Umbra) which might be worth checking out though their powerlevel might not be as high as this list.
Just my 2 cents.
I have all the cards and have played many versions. the best one IMo had no giants and has umbra and taldaram. Pissibly 1 faceless, but I one n'zoth instead of the faceless for my 2nd win condition which is voidlord spam. The giants seem nice, but I'd run twilight drakes as well and make more of a handlock hybrid if I was going to run them At the minute mine is a control hybrid so no giants or drakes.
it's worth adding that i'm in the process of making a tempo paladin with an umbra combo, so the card is going to see more play now with death rattle themed decks.
Spellbreaker over N'zoth is as good as throwing the mirror match
This deck costs about 120 dollars to make when you convert the dust to dollars. Blizzard actually thinks this is ok....Fucking disgusting.
Umbra is not super necessary, people have been playing a version with Mountain Giant instead of umbra...
QUESTION: I know that Prince Taldaram is deffo good in this deck, but exactly how needed he is?
You can replace it with a Faceless Manipulator. Some versios of this deck even use Faceless and Taldaram (without Thalnos).
