I demand a new Control meta, now.
One of the best.
Keep up the good work, Hearthpwn!
Yuck, I'd rather spend $20 for an adventure then sink thousands of gold into an expansion and keep getting the same lame commons over and over or getting joke legendaries.
I think they realized they made League of Explorers too valuable. 45 cards for $20 is a great deal. Especially 5 legendaries.
It honestly disgusts me when they talk about how they're already working on the next expansion before they even release the current one. Hey Brode, why not make sure the cards in this expansion are good, instead of thinking about what you'll rip us off with next!
I need next expansion already! For the (gold) Horde!
Ben Brode on twitch. Ugh.
Maybe they're thinking nerf Leper Gnome and Knife Juggler just to avoid any unfair and unfun interaction with the new cards. Obviously nerfing aggro decks too, but new cards could up aggro again.
Good episode of the angry chicken and some cool decks.
I hope Knife Juggler stays the same except a change to "After you play a minion, deal 1 damage to a random minion." and for Leper Gnome either reducing the damage to 1 or dealing 2 damage to both heroes.
The Knife Juggler change seems reasonable. That way cards like Imp Gang Boss, Piloted Shredder, and Unleash the Hounds can't get extra knives thrown.
"Always hit face" is a brawl deck
Do they want to make Knife Juggler and Leper Gnome unplayable like Warsong Commander?
Blizzard will no doubt nerf Leper Gnome to read "Deathrattle: Deal 2 damage to your hero."
Sick Eye for an Eye synergy!
2 expansions and 1 adventure per year is quite ok. A newbie can simply buy current year expansions and current year adventure packs and after the standard rotation at the start of next year he will mostly be on equal foot with the other players.
And that's all its advantages.
I'm going to give Ben Brode a follow on Twitch. Hopefully in his streams he tells us some of the stories of cards like the original ideas for them or something.
