I've beend playing the list I suggested above (which is pretty much your current list with violet intead of peddler) on ladder for the last few days and I have to say it's super effective and a lot of fun to play. I feel comfortable in most matchups. This deck can win vs control and aggro respectively .
Concerning the Peddler it's still too early to say much, but from what I've seen so far I don't think he will help. I need to start doing statistics (how many times would peddler be prefereable over violet and vice versa) though.
I just checked the deck section if there is already a decklist of thief miracle rogue. This one is the closest to what I think could work. I'm currently having quite some fun with lifecach's hybrid Rogue list. It's surprisingly effective against almost anything on ladder (Hunter, Shaman, Warrior and actually even Zoo). The difference to this list is Squire instead if the Burglar, Azure Drakes instead of Peddlers, second Shadow Strike instead of second Sap and one Conceal instead of second Violet Teacher.
On the basis of this hybrid Rogue list, these are my thoughts:
Swashburglar is definitly an upgrade over Squire. I would love to add the second one, but I don't know what to cut. Maybe the Conceal isn't needed.
In this list I would never cut the Raptors for Farseers. Raptors are so much more annoying for your opponent and the heal isn't needed. There will be games where your opponents outraces you, but I don't think these games can be won with insignificant heal. The other games are swung way earlier as heal is needed.
Idk if 2 Saps or 2 Shadowstrike is better. At the moment I feel Shadowstrike is more valuable.
Idk if Peddler is even needed. Cutting Drakes doesn't seem to be an option though. I might try adding one first, maybe even for the Teacher but maybe 1 Drake / 1 Peddler is fine too. About half of the stolen cards are spells that feed the Auctioneers. Reducing the cost of these can be significant. This is something that needs to be tested.
OP's post is just a huge humble brag without any real information. Why would he even think anybody is interested in his exaggerated opinion of himself?
I feel your pain regarding Face Shaman. But this is not a problem this deck has, it's a problem Rogue has in general. I would veen say that this deck with lots of spells, Preparation and stuff has a better chance against Face Shaman than other Rogue decks have. If you watched Dog playing Deathrattle Rogue after the release, he was crushed badly by Face Shaman and stopped playing it for that reason.
I honestly don't know what to tech more against Face Shaman. Since I teched in the Acidic Swamp Ooze I only faced Shaman once, where I didn't draw it. But if you draw it by turn 6 (or later, when they also draw late into Doomhammer) you should have a good chance to win the matchup. If this happens with aggressive mulligan ~30% of the time (idk the exact math here, can someone help?), this would increase your winrate dramatically and if that leads to a winrate of 35-40% I guess I can live with it as long as the meta isn't 100% Shaman.
I can't understand why you got crushed by C'Thun Druid though. Maybe I was lucky but I only lost once from abaout 20 games against them. I felt like this matchup is very favorable. Can you specify what happened? The same goes for Priest. Maybe you faced one of those weird OTK healing Priests and got unlucky. But they are so onconsistent that they don't matter in the long term. All other Priests can't do anything against you. The Blade of C'Thun management is very important in those matchups though.
Edit: The chance of drawing into Acidic Swamp Ooze by turn 6 is 30% going first and 33,3% going second. If you aggresively mulligan it's 37% going first and 42,22% going second (source: some forum threads). This seems good enough!
I wanted to share my Paladin list I was therycrafting since the card reveals and started playtesting the whole last day. For the time being I climbed from 5 to 3 with this list. It's very fun and powerful.
The idea is pretty much the same (old) Midrange Paladin had with Quartermaster: Spawn endless tokens the opponent has to take care of and at some point, when he cannot handle them anymore, drop Murloc Warleader for burst. Steward of Darkshire helps to make your tokens more durable.
This decks destroys Control decks and other C'Thun decks and has a decent Matchup against aggro. Please check the description. I tried to write down everything that came into my mind about playing this deck.
C'Thun Rogue will be strong. The only problem are pure face decks like face shaman. Zoo like decks and Aggro Paladin style shouldn't be a problem with Rogue's early removal. C'Thun Rogue doesn't need alls those C'thun buffing vanilla minions. Two Disciples of C'Thun and one Blade of C'thun should be enough for the C'Thun package. Then there is enough room for Auctioneer plus spells. Shadowsteps increase utility of the deck and can either be used for aggro management or more reach with C'Thun against control.
My prediction is that C'thun Rogue will only run 1 Blade of C'Thun, 2 Disciple of C'Thun and C'Thun himself. Add Shadowsteps and the whole "Miracle package", SI:7 Agents and there should be enough removal to survive. this deck also has hiogh utility. Freeze mage is a big problem though. I could imagine something like this:

I don't think it will work with Blade Flurry because it's the spell that deals the damage.

True, but stats are way better on Gentle Megasaur and you can semi-choose your Adapt. It's also a Beast for The Curator.

This card seems absolutely broken with the Finja, the Flying Star-Package.

Not it doesn't, as it's not a basic or starting hero power.
But you can use your second Vilefin Inquisitor to reset your hero power and for example Inspire a second time with Murloc Knight.

Hey everybody,
I wanted to share my C'Thun Miracle Rogue I am using since Old Gods is released.
In my opinion on curve minions like Beckoner of Evil,Twilight Elder and C'Thun's Chosen are just wrong in C'Thun Rogue. You want to have insane utility to fight either Aggro or Control. A Disciple of C'Thun and a Blade of C'Thun is more than enough C'Thun synergy and saves room for better cards, especially the the Gadgetzan Auctioneer package to draw into your combo pieces fast.
This decks destroys Control decks and other C'Thun decks and has a decent Matchup against aggro. Please check the description. I tried to write down everything that came into my mind about playing this deck.
So far I climbed from rank 5 to 3 with this list.
Here is the list:

This is what I think C'Thun Rogue will look like:
