However, there's no good Rogue deck currently that would use this, because they don't have enough small minions.
Jade Rogue on the other hand does use a lot of small minions, because of the jade mechanic alone. Jade Swarmer especially synergizes very well with this card, but unfortunately not on curve. The pirate package allows you to destroy a minion and develop a 1/1 and a 2/3 for 4 mana.
You can add Wild Pyromancers to your Jade Rogue for the sick boardclear. Hallucination and Journey Below are cards you're already playing and you can add Shadowstep for its obvious synergy with everything else and your chances to have this board clear are like having Pyro + Equality for Paladin, even though it's a 3 card combo.
What are the problems with the deck? You are relying a lot on Jade Swarmer as a medium to make copies with Shadowcasters and also as a medium to trade up with Plague Scientist. Devolve is a card and absolutely dismantles your gameplan. The deck is also prone ot dead hands.
The upsides? Amazing late game similarly to Jade Druid, but with the added bonuses of having good single target removal (Vilespine Slayer) and having access to a full board clear.
I rate this card 5/5 and I'm positive that it will see play.
Bingo! I have been playing Jade elemental rogue since jade spirit got the elemental tag and the deck is fun as heck and keeps surprising me. It is a good deck but whenever I lose it seems to be because the cards in my hand are too expensive to combo with each other. Vilespine slayers are great, but getting their combo off and still have mana to play shadowcaster (an absolute star in the deck otherwise) is quite a hassle. The deck always has minions on the board, however, so while the slayer will usually be better in rogue decks, in my jade deck, I feel this is a real winner.
compare this effect to Hunter's Mark in hunter. Hunter's mark is a very below average card that didn't even see play at 0 mana because you had to play it, and then trade a card into whatever you were killing. hunter also had a really hard time drawing cards and that had bad synergy in that sense. Rogue has an equally difficult problem with having minons stick on the board. You'd have to run this card in a stealth themed deck where you're likely to have a stealth minon live. But you already have Patient Assassin and the new 3 mana 2 2 wasp :/
Surprise factor is key, its like a crackling razormaw that always gets poisonous. Its easy to play around stealth poisonous cards because you see them on board, you don't know if he has this card. You just need tokens, which is harder for rogue than hunter
I love Doppelgangster, stats are distributed so well so that it can trade efficiently with midsized minions (3/2s and x/4s) and survive against tokens (Silver Hand Recruits and Igneous Elemental)

Obviously great arena card for rogue. Definitely increases going first advantage.

Gonna have to play around this a lot in arena now

Honestly, I would rather die to Pirate Warrior as a control deck than Jade Druid. Funny how many oppressive decks came in Gadgetzan

Yeah I like that one too. 5 mana 6/6 is a lot better than a 5/6 (surprisingly) and there are so few good 5 drops in the game

What other cards do you think are underrated?

Ding dong the wicked witch is dead

How does build-a-beast decide what stats the minion gets? This might be the value card hunter needs since it lacks card draw

Arguably the most competitive warlock deck of the expansion
