However, there's no good Rogue deck currently that would use this, because they don't have enough small minions.
Jade Rogue on the other hand does use a lot of small minions, because of the jade mechanic alone. Jade Swarmer especially synergizes very well with this card, but unfortunately not on curve. The pirate package allows you to destroy a minion and develop a 1/1 and a 2/3 for 4 mana.
You can add Wild Pyromancers to your Jade Rogue for the sick boardclear. Hallucination and Journey Below are cards you're already playing and you can add Shadowstep for its obvious synergy with everything else and your chances to have this board clear are like having Pyro + Equality for Paladin, even though it's a 3 card combo.
What are the problems with the deck? You are relying a lot on Jade Swarmer as a medium to make copies with Shadowcasters and also as a medium to trade up with Plague Scientist. Devolve is a card and absolutely dismantles your gameplan. The deck is also prone ot dead hands.
The upsides? Amazing late game similarly to Jade Druid, but with the added bonuses of having good single target removal (Vilespine Slayer) and having access to a full board clear.
I rate this card 5/5 and I'm positive that it will see play.
Bingo! I have been playing Jade elemental rogue since jade spirit got the elemental tag and the deck is fun as heck and keeps surprising me. It is a good deck but whenever I lose it seems to be because the cards in my hand are too expensive to combo with each other. Vilespine slayers are great, but getting their combo off and still have mana to play shadowcaster (an absolute star in the deck otherwise) is quite a hassle. The deck always has minions on the board, however, so while the slayer will usually be better in rogue decks, in my jade deck, I feel this is a real winner.
For arena this card seems really good. For constructed, it is hard to say. This is kinda an obvious fit into a aggro rogue. But aggro rogue is only good if it is the fastest aggro deck on meta. So eh, not sure if there will be any constructed applications.
Everyone here talking about this card on 1/1 tokens, or board clear shenanigans with stuff like Wild Pyromancer or Knife Juggler... OK, but what about a third way?
I'm no Rogue expert, and going out on a limb now for sure... but what would you think of this on a low-attack, high-health guy, for multiple use? Something like (gasp!) Mogu'shan Warden?
Ok this is good. Think of it as a crackling razormaw that costs 1 more but is always guaranteed to give you poisonous. Even though you have to combo it, Rogue is the master of combo. People actually said vilespine slayer was garbage when it was first revealed, and then when you played with it, people realized that getting to just nuke a minion on top of a body for 5 mana is actually a pretty good deal.
This is also good because it can be used late game as well, and the card only costs 3 mana so it is a good deal for what it does. Never ever underestimate minions that can be used to kill another minion on the turn it comes out, you do know how annoying Crackling Razormaw or Gentle Megasaur are when they randomly give your opponent's small minion poisonous and they end up ramming it into your bigger minion?
It needs to have immediate impact, hence the Pyromancer and Knife Juggler, single target is too easy to remove.
It will bet nuts in Arena....Cards like Eggnapper just got a lot more dangerous, basically Rogue needs to be treated like Paladin now......Even a single 1/1 can turn the tide if left up.
you do realize that won't work right? Poisonous only works when a minion attacks another, no other form of damage output would work for poisonsous
Unless there's been a patch addressing this (and i've just checked patch notes, there hasn't been any changes), let's get this clear once and for all
And one more for Sergeant Sally and similar minions
Wild Pyromancer deals damage while alive (and dies through this damage), Sgt. Sally deals damage after she died through her deathrattle. Poisonous is only applicable if the damage dealing source is still on board. This is how it is handled if you disagree feel free to bring this up as discussion topic, but this does not make it a bug.

I think this will mostly be used in aggro decks. Ship's Cannon can be devastating itself in early game, and later on it can be used with poisonous to remove big minions and taunts too. Argent Horserides can take out two minions because of divine shield, etc.
Knife Juggler and Wild Pyromancer synergy obviously, possibly more with new cards.
Could make control Rogue happen....he only problem is, why would you even play control rogue? What would be the goal of control rogue anyways. Maybe it works in a Bounce/Jade sort of deck
I think this might be used, but generally I think it is not a good Card. It Needs a board and a Combo Card and can be limited by a taunt minion.
Combos like Wild Pyromancer and Plague Scientist do not only require three Cards (Pyro, this and a spell), but also kill your own board as well. Howeve, as someone else mentioned, Violet Teacher seems to synergize with this Card. Maybe with more token Generators that will enter some viable decks. But I thik everyone will prefer vilespine slayer.

Make the Card: The biggest thread on the site!
My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.
For 7 mana, you can use Knife Juggler into Plague Scientist into any 2 mana 2 minion generator (Murlocs/Defias/etc) for three pings of lethal.
Broken arena card.

Maybe in some slower decks, hmm?

Thank you, getting tired of people thinking they know what they're talking about when they clearly don't.
Hello.
No it doesn't need to attack, it reads 'whenever this minion deals damage' pyro + adapt poisonous works also

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

A glorious bundle of salt.
