A much higher frame rate so I don't have seizures and autoinflammation. The current game mimics nystagmus, a common symptom of poisoning, causing the innate immune system to go nuts.

I desperately want back in but I need a frame rate that is high enough that it doesn't cause seizures, and stop making the board shake for special effects. My medical conditions may be extreme, but I actually believe this is at least a low-grade medical problem for everyone. Low frame rate mimic nystagmus, a common symptom of poisoning, causing autoinflammation and related illnesses.

    Motion sickness: an evolutionary hypothesis

    Abstract
Since the occurrence of vomiting as a response to motion is both widespread and apparently disadvantageous, it presents a problem for evolutionary theory. An hypothesis is proposed suggesting that motion sickness is triggered by difficulties which arise in the programming of movements of the eyes or head when the relations between the spatial frameworks defined by the visual, vestibular, or proprioceptive inputs are repeatedly and unpredictably perturbed. Such perturbations may be produced by certain types of motion, or by disturbances in sensory input or motor control produced by ingested toxins. The last would be the important cause in nature, the main function of the emesis being to rid the individual of ingested neurotoxins. Its occurrence in response to motion would be an accidental by product of this system.

posted a message on Activision-Blizzard has gone too far with the Mega Bundle

So you get 80 packs for free (four months.) If you're wise you work your way to saving all 80 for the next expansion. What more does buying 50 packs do ya for? Not that much.  A few rares you missed, 10 epics, maybe 3 you'll use, and 2 legends plus dust for maybe 2 more - you'll get %50 more than you got for free, by my back-of-the-envelope calculation. The vast majority of great decks - you won't get to try.

That's no bargain to my way of thinking; I've got fun decks to play now and just hate grinding.

HS is a great game. But I'm looking forward to Artifact. I'll pay to play everything and anything - maybe it won't be as good a game, maybe the simulation of scarcity in HS is what make "the illusion of progress" so delicious in HS, but we'll see.

posted a message on How to get into wild?

Fun decks are actually easier and better to craft with some wild cards, often commons or rares. Say casino mage and Steal Priest. You won't have to craft much for max fun. To my surprise, right after the last rotation, most of the decks I play on my two f2p accounts (regions/servers) are now "Wild" decks, it was easiest to add a few earlier wild cards and keep 'em Wild. I didn't expect that to happen.

Congrats! Druid seems to be the best Malygos home right now, it's not quite as good in standard:

HSreplay.net and the decks here are both good sources of ideas for powerful cheap decks; HSReplay gives you more objective evidence for the effectiveness of their cheap decks. But why not play for fun? A fun wild casino mage doesn't have to cost much.

posted a message on How much focus do you put into hearthstone?

If I'm able to focus, I'm doing something else; I turn to HS when I'm too tired to productively focus on other things. Ranked play is so grindy I don't think I'm missing anything, and I do get entertained.

posted a message on Should I craft Leeroy, Genn or DK Rexxar??

Contrary to what xSaiko says, Rexxar is in 89% of Hunter decks, including very successful ones, according to HSReplay. Not to mention being so much fun, and so powerful I never mulligan him. It's easy for f2p accounts to hold their own in Wild, and more, if they specialize, so don't be afraid of Wild. Genn and Baku will give the most value over time, as more cards are added, they'll just get better (in Wild.) He's right about Leeroy though, unless you're all aggro all the time maybe.

posted a message on Next Expansion

Last time I predicted some good cards for Warrior, esp Taunt Warrior. Great taunt cards for Taunt Warrior arrived (plus excellent Warrior cards.) But the taunt cards weren't Warrior cards. I predict great Warrior cards this time, and a meteoric rise for Warrior - not nec control Warrior, though.

posted a message on Is this the Golden Age of Wild meta?

I'm now playing Wild exclusively with my paid account, and at least one Wild deck in both of my f2p accounts, too. I concentrate on fun decks, and Wild is perfect for that; sure Barnes may do crazy things, but my decks can out-crazy it. I've been forced to reply to a Barnes with an early Yogg with good results quite recently.

posted a message on just a idea

Ranked play isn't all that much fun with a pile of cards, either, I'm afraid. But fun decks really rock, and you can make good ones with not a ton of money, so start crafting for a Casino Mage, Thief Rogue or Steal Priest deck; fun cards and decks preserve their value expansion after expansion.

Thanks for the deck, Valeera the Hollow is my next craft so tempting as this is, I won't likely be able to create it before the next expansion hits, alas. Meanwhile I've been very impressed with this deck, and wonder what your more-educated comment on it would be:

For myself, this has been a truly excellent deck, and a terrific find. It's powerful enough to start you climbing in this meta (and maybe more, I ain't there yet.) And a ridiculous amount of fun, extremely highly variable. I've been on top of Thief Rogue since the expansion, and this is so much better than everything else I've seen or tried to craft. Kudos, Loki! The inclusion of Sir Finley Mrrgglton is genius.

Ton of fun, powerful decks don't come along every day, don't miss this one!

posted a message on What to craft with 12K dust?

PS - Hunter, thanks to the Deathstalker Rexxar DK, and spell-generating Shaman decks, deserve mention in the fun column, too. Spell Hunter is both powerful and fun, now.

Personally, I also like to have a plays-itself at least a little variable (and control) deck at the ready for when I'm stupid tired but have to do something. C'Thun and Jade are my go-tos, for that purpose - or Hunter with Rexxar. I don't play them when I'm at all alert.
