I like Blizzard's new trend of adding non-legendary high drops that fulfill a certain role, especially in control decks of course, by having specific keywords and stats instead of flashy legendary abilities. This serves as a blocker, a lifegain tool and a removal spell and Primordial Drake for example is a great blocker combined with board damage.
Hi guys, a quick question: is there any page where I can find all the design competitions so far with their best submissions listed? I'd love to go through them but searching the forum for each one is a bit of a hassle. Thanks in advance!
Alexstrasza's Champion, Fiery War Axe, Armorsmith, Shield Block, Bash (not more than one), and maybe Blackwing Technician when the rest of your hand is also low. Generally you want to mulligan for cards that cost 3 or less (at least for control decks). If you however find yourself with an opening hand that lets you play a card (especially a minion) on turn 2 and 3 then you can also keep a 4 cost cards since it curves out well.
Alexstrasza can also be used in a few other decks, while Baron Geddon is almost only used in Control/Fatigue decks. Nexus Champ Saraad is a really cool card but rarely used.

This deck is way more consistent than Yogg-Saron decks, just give it a try ;)
I personaly replaced Cairne Bloodhoof with Anub'arak (amazing with Unearthed Raptor)

Great explanation, also didn't realize why cards like Arcane Intellect are so important.

Brann Bronzebeard and The Mistcaller rocks big time!
Replaced Charged Hammer with Piloted Shredder

Definitely my favourite of all cards (and I own a lot of golden legendaries).

Shame on you for playing this deck.

Even if warrior is your main class I would disenchant baron geddon for this, it's stronger in the end.

Fel Reaver fucks you up big time.

He probably doesn't have a better card to replace it.
