posted a message on TgT legendary crafting tiers

I haven't read through most of the comments but I would like to point out my personal experience. I have seen and used The Mistcaller in multiple games 30+ he is a game winner depending on your deck build for sure not tier 3.  As to break away from net decks I have been messing around with other archetypes I have run into  Varian Wrynn on quite a few occasions id say at least 10+ since expansion and have lost to him being played 1 time and that was because ysera. Now I'm not saying he's a bad card in any way im just saying most of the value people "think" cards have are because the few "pros" they see play. This release is still early stages and you have to remember after all those streams you watch etc and all the Net decks you think will drag you to legend... there are a thousand players who played cards like Rhonin in a maly mage that made it to legend. My basic point is, ignore the lists except for ideas. Play your own playstyle, play what you think is fun, practice that deck and any card is viable. But honsetly have fun.... and if all else fails just play face hunter and lay your face on the keyboard.

I think its nice. Waiting for the animations was always bad. Imagine playing something like a mill deck in MTG or an infinite loop combo and your opponent being like no I want you to tap and untap every card in sequence over and over again and place counters on your cards before ill reshuffle and we can play again..... This change is great!

Not even close. Play MTG and buy a booster box every month or two plus when you need a card you can't disenchant it... This is no where near as expensive as most TCG's

True, but i played MTG for quite a while and sold all of it (exept a tradewindrider deck). Its not possible to sell your collection when you quit.

This is very true. If you keep your MTG stuff in good shape you can make some serious cash from it.

Ive run 4 games with gormok thus far and he has proved his worth with aggro decks, not only that but i put him in tempo mage and he basically gave me overwhelming early control

*note* only 4 games... so not reliable stats but I can see value is all im saying

posted a message on Face Hunter and Eboladin are ruining hearthstone

I mean yea they are annoying but you can't say "Make hearthstone a smarter game to play" the real challenge is forming a deck that works in the meta and holds up against aggro because aggro will always exist. Even in MTG you have multiple red archetype aggro decks, white aggro decks, black aggro decks, that can win a game in 4 to 5 turns fairly consistently. You have people that like to mill and people who like to play control or midrange... Yea there are alot more mechanics etc and yes it is "harder" but those Shrek your face in 4 turn decks still exist even in that meta. Just part of playing CG's... I do however agree that when 80% of the meta on ladder is netdeck face huntards or ebola paladins it is frustrating and does take the fun out of the game but you can't nerf cards or decks for that reason. So there is validity to both sides of this but at the end of the day aggro is aggro and aggro players are gonna SMOrc. <3

posted a message on Is Power Creep Getting Out of Hand?

This has been a question of mine for a while. In the sense that I started playing a little bit of MTG then began playing hearthstone when it came out but I was still a noob to TCG's in general. Now I know in games like magic certain sets become pulled where you can still play them casually but in a competitive setting that set would no longer be allowed in rotation. I can only assume once Hearthstone begins to reach that point (which I am not saying they have currently) won't they have to do something similar. I can't see power creep just never happening I believe in a way it is inevitable but I may be wrong. If any more experienced TCG players would care to chime in that would be awesome. At any rate have fun all.

posted a message on Disgusting meta

rush pally and zoo lock is what I see most of. After that its patron or freeze mage. I don't think the matchups are bad or the meta is bad I just hate that no one is original its 1000 people running copies of the same deck. 90% of the time whether Im winning or losing I know what cards they are running and what they are going to play. Its gotten to the point I can even tell when they misplay on something I shouldn't know.  TGT will help but its mainly the lack of creativity and the fear of bringing your own deck onto ladder. But honestly at this point changing two cards could throw someone into such a shit fit that they wouldn't know what was happening. Go zoo lock tap twice first... everyone prepares for the ancient watchers.. everyone plays around duplicate... freezing and explosive.. better beat that turn 7/8 druid... turn 6 patrons turn 8 ggwp... knife juggler... oh he has muster... no aoe... good here is quartermaster.. its the same thing over and over.. priest.. he drops a deathlord... he has auchenai, circles blademasters save that hard removal... rogue.. well its either mech or oil and thats apparent quickly. its the same game over I use control early on ladder for the rush decks.. then mid range for the control/aggro decks at higher ranks.. then once you get way up its f'n rush to legend hunter/zoo/pally. -end rant

posted a message on While we wait for TGT :How to Heroic Majordomo/Ragnaros:

So I was bored on my alt account and figured I would start doing heroic bosses at random with decks I didn't use before. This is a priest deck there are many variations of it, I have just swapped a few of my own tech cards into it. I made a few well not misplays but plays I could have done a little better but at any rate for those of you looking to beat Heroic BRM in your spare time here is a video showing the decklist and how this deck works. Hope you guys have fun and enjoy! GL!
