This deck has stomped aggro for me and 7 games against secret pally 100% winrate against them... most people just concede because the heals and removal. Kel-thuzad makes this deck impossible to deal with if you can get a decent board. Gj

posted a message on Cards that need to be nerfed

If you have ever played ANY other TCG you would understand that ... working and building your board around what is going to die what will be buffed and what secrets you have is strategy. Now I am not defending MC or secret pallys mainly because most of them netdeck and do in fact just slam Dr. 6 on turn 6 either way.  But when I say tech choices I mean in overall playstyle you don't have to tech vs MC just because most decks run a BGH or at least some for of hard early removal and if not every deck has the option and the space. Dr. Boom isnt nearly as strong as he used to be I mean he is the best 7 drop in nearly all situations because you will force the BGH or shield slam or executes etc etc but if you look statistically at overall data he is rarely the win condition for a deck.  But at the end of the day if you are playing casually play whatever you want but since we do in fact know that MC and secret pallys are a large majority of ladder teching against it is not diminishing your overall deck quality because the changes that could be made for example are Kezan early steal that works great against MC as it will give you some board advantage works also against freeze mage cuz you take an iceblock and that makes the game lean in your direction. Hunters get wrecked by it as well and its a decent body so you are not losing anything except whatever may be piloting your shredder on that turn. I mean overall I do understand what you are getting at I mean pallys were underpowered and now they have too many strong cards not to be the most played. But as Ive watched people like MrYagut hit rank 1 every season with an oil rogue against all of these decks I realize its choices. I mean they are difficult and as new cards come out others will be difficult but are they really as difficult to beat as reno handlock or control warrior or face hunter and can roughly burn you for 10+ points of dmg in a turn before late game. I mean as more cards come out and as the game develops further the meta will again change. We need powerful cards so when other decks get powerful cards we can utilize that into strategy to keep the game competitive. People are just triggered because its such an easy netdeck to find and play so just like with MTG when a deck becomes strong and people want to reach legend or just want to build at least one viable deck they go for something like this that does not have many hard counters. Any deck can win or lose to secret pally. MC doesn't need a nerf if anything we just need a few neutral cards to balance its effects but you cant just destroy a card everytime it performs well on 70% of its use. Its just like patron warrior for no reason that was destroyed because the community of triggered little kids whined that they couldnt beat it or it was unfair. But I play freeze mage a lot now and Im sure that I have turns where I do nothing for 5 turns then do 30+ points of dmg see with the new meta even that deck wouldnt be as strong now and that nerf was not necessary its just blizzard is in new waters but as long as I have been playing MTG and other TCGs you  will see the best way to stabalize is to stop nerfing cards and have a strong team to build counters at any rate I do understand where you are coming from and I meant no offense...

TL:DR easy tech that doesnt diminish a competitive deck. Nerfs are bad for games lifespan. This is a common problem in TCGs

Why do people think instead of creating strategy that we should just nerf cards. Maybe if you stop netdecking so much and make some personal tech choices these cards would not be so difficult to handle. You will never play a deck that wins 100% of the time and you will never have a TCG that doesnt have a few "OP" cards. Lets take out cards that cause strategy and just give everything a 1/2 ratio face card and just have a bunch of classes that drop a minion and go face back and forth until the end..... While we are at it I play alot of mage lately and Kezan Mystic is too OP and needs to be nerfed not to take my secrets... Oh and MC tech needs a nerf cuz sometimes I like to play flood lock I mean seriously what if I want 4 minions on the board and you can just take one?! Oh and alexstraza 8/8 for 9 mana that does instant 15 points of dmg PLZ NERF Kappa

posted a message on Fun and Competitive Mill rogue deck.

I had beneath in the original decklist for this and ran it on ladder often. When it works it REALLY WORKS to keep tempo but when it doesnt its a dead card there are always good tech choices and I am trying to refine the deck further so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I feel a deck like mill rogue just like in Early MTG mill is just a hard but very competitive deck I like the idea of having a deck that causes you to think. I know this isnt my own idea 100% but I can say that I rarely net deck unless its something crazy that looks fun aaaaaaaand control warrior lists haha but I will work on this until us rogue players have a very competitive deck. But again thanks for all the responses.

Yea I would keep Maly.. I can't see 400 dust being more valuable unless you are f2p with no cards. Maly is still a good surprise in lock/mage decks and people tend to play around other win conditions so maybe shake up the meta a bit. Too many people netdeck all the time and end up losing to something they weren't prepared for.... well that or secret pally Kappa
