Disasterrific posted a message on How good is Captain GreenskinPosted in: Card DiscussionGotta get that Captain's Parrot!
Joking aside, he's the Bloodmage Thalnos of pirate/weapon-based decks.
The boost he offers is a small but significant boon, but there isn't a competitive deck for him yet. Notables are the interaction with Gorehowl which is worth 15 damage to the face, and Assassin's Blade which can pump out 20 damage over 5 turns. It's also pretty good with Truesilver Champion and Death's Bite, and even Arcanite Reaper. Putting it on Doomhammer is just excessive.
Probably his most viable deck right now is a tempo-based Pirate Rogue with Tinker's Sharpsword Oil or a weapon-heavy Renowarrior deck.

RandomScribbles posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 3.01 [Submission Topic]Posted in: Fan CreationsFirst, kudos to Cyg2112 for a great competition idea. I was rooting for it over my own.
I really love the idea of the minions having asymmetric synergy. It lets each card have very different personalities. Compared to Feugen and Stalagg, which have one possible outcome after playing both cards, these guys have three:
- Discover a card with no penalty in minion stats, but only if you play both unique cards together, which is rare;
- Have a 2 drop that gives you a 3 drop (making Watt-son a better early game card than a Loot Hoarder but worse than a Mad Scientist); or
- A decent vanilla 3 drop and a decent vanilla 2 drop.

Solkael posted a message on Who are your favorite streamers and why?Posted in: Streams and VideosMine are:
1. Noxious: he plays almost every time non-conventional decks. Sometimes he gets...madd...and the switches to other games. He is trying hard now, taking his time with every play and his OCD does not help him. Overall a good streamer is YOU want to entertain and interact with twitch chat.
2. Kripparian: if arena is your deal, he is one of the best. He mostly does not explain the plays BEFORE he makes them.
3. Amaz: fun stream, that is all

iandakar posted a message on Opinions on what to craft from people most likely better at this game then IPosted in: Card DiscussionWell, Maly is a fun card you can make interesting decks with but nothing really stable. Only get him when your other needed cards are gotten.
Sylv, honestly I don't see her as HIGH priority anymore. She's useful but doesn't make or break a deck to not have her.
Ysera actually doesn't fit i nmost decks as she's vitally slow. INSANELY slow. She's accepted because she' so dangerous. She's slow but she WILL end games when she stays for mor ethan a turn (and her 12 health makes her hard to remove) and she can end games even if she's removed the turn she's dropped. Control Priest uses her regularly.
Jaraxxus.. well, you cannot make a demon lock deck without him. however, you really need Mal for demonlock. However, there are warlock decks without Mal that do have Jaraxxus, such as Reno, so if you like warlock in general he's key.
Thus given that you like Control priest and Warlock, I'd go Jaraxxus as he's so critical, then Sylvanas as she fits in more places than Ysera and you don't seem to value Ys that much. Then Ysera. Then prob ably other cards you need before Maly.

Im not a new player by any means, ive been playing since pre Naxx, although i stopped playing for a little between the releases of Naxx and GVG. While i don't consider 12 a particularly bad rank to end a season at like any player eventually id like to hit legend. while I'm sure a lot of whats holding me back is personal skill at the game I'm wondering if it could also be my decks. while i have a total of 14 decks i only use 4 of them in Ranked the others like a murloc paladin are only used in casual. The four decks i use in ranked are, Control warrior, Reno warrior, Secret Pally And a Deathwing Warlock. Sorry about the poor quality of the Deck Pictures but if anyone who consistently reaches legend or at least a higher rank than 12 can leave and advise, is the issues the decks or simply my own skill at the game which just takes more practice and effort.

Big Game Hunter ( same Attack and Health but different Mana)
1
Fossilized Devilsaur(card that has an effect only if a condition is met)
4
Well for starters deathwing doesn't even match the criteria as he doesn't deal 4 damage but, anyway
Faceless Manipulator when used on aDeathwing (Mana and attack+health)
1
type [ card]Card Name[ /card] (remove the space after the first parenthesis)
1
Flame Imp (Negative Battlecry)
2
Goblin Sapper (card that can gain 3 or more attack, through any means)
2
Why does everyone always complain about King of Beasts? I've never thought it was that bad but i seem to be in a minority.

Heres a pic of it.

as long as BGH is in the game it severely limits what new cards can be made. any card with 7+ attack simply will never see play unless they have a battle cry or death rattle that makes it worth playing despite the risk. With Blizz coming out with all these large minions it seems very likely a nerf is coming. personally i like the suggestions that he kills a dragon.
