Gwent is more like a board game, you just using cards instead of figures, i like it a lot and do tier 1-2 plays daily but i don't find it as a competitor for HS or ESL, more like a supplement. There is little chance that it will be available on mobile, maybe on tablets, but phones don't have big enough screen to fill that huge board with 3 rows on each side and possibility of 20+ cards in the game. And separating the board into several screen with each row etc. would be too much clicking.

I can't wait for Gwent to be available for everyone, because I"m hearing so many good things about it and I want to play badly.

You're kidding right? What makes Hearthstone NOT like a boardgame? The animations, the colours, the cheesiness? the fact it appeals to younger kids? [visit any twicth stream on HS and witness the "chat" - then switch to Gwent streams and see actual discussion] ... HS is as basic a TCG as you can possibly get. Both are akin to boardgames, only where Gwent is like chess, HS is more like checkers. You can actually win games in HS by just playing whatever turns green in hand ... it is that simplistic, with a lick of luck'n'rng. I am not even kidding when I say I have allowed my young daughter play my account in mid ranks and win games. Gwent wouldn't suit moble gaming as it's not casual enough! That's the point. HS is a pick up and go, non challenging time killer ... and I say this as someone who's playing since Beta. I think Gwent is aimed at a higher age bracket honestly. But, for anyone interested in both, they are easy to run side by side. I wouldn't say that about ESL, because that one is much more a HS clone. You'll get bored of that a lot quicker I imagine.

It is available, though still in closed beta, there's tonnes of free keys out there if you search for them. I suggest getting in now before it goes Open Beta, as you'll clock up some experience. Better to make all your mistakes in closed :)
Been playing this for about 5 days. First impressions: it takes itself way too seriously and the cards lack character (having to mouse over each one to see what it does, whereas in Hearthstone each card is instantly recognisable from its summon audio). Only played against the AI so far but it seems face is even more the place here?
I'll stick with it though, but from first impressions I thought Faeria was better (although it runs like a pig on my laptop so I haven't played it much really).

If by "it takes itself way too seriously" you mean it's trying to cater to adults, rather than the cartoony, childish mayhem that is HS, then yes, I agree with you.

Now now there...I love the Warcraft universe, and it's "cartoony" visuals btw!!! It has a lot of heart and soul, which TES: Legends lacks over all. But, that does not mean I don't like Legends' art style, but it does not have the same charm as HS tho.
That does not change the fact that Legends is a very good game my friend...but he is right that the game is kinda of bland etc
Betrayer... In truth, it was I who was betrayed. Still, I am hunted. Still, I am hated. Now, my blind eyes see what others cannot: that sometimes the hand of fate must be forced! Now go forth... unleash the tides of Doom... Upon all those...who would oppose us.

The last 11 Cards revealed, I pre ordered. So many archetypes that can be made!
Also this card seems bad at first
But control may need more board clears and single target removals/silences with this expansion. So I was thinking exhausting the enemy with control spells. Once he has no resources I can transform my cards into minions probably to end the game.
Great in spellsword with the insane amount of magicka we can reach. Also we have bloodfen priest to silence other peoples card.
Gotta say, FDB is amazing. Encounters are quite fun and story got a familiar TES vibe to it. Solid 10/10 for me, especially considering it's their very first expansion.

The classic tier: Reno Jackson | Elise Starseeker | Brann Bronzebeard.
