I just thought about it, and I find it ironically funny how with MSoG came both the ultimate aggro and the ultimate control decks. Right now, the Ultimate aggro is nerfed. Now, people complain increasingly about Jade's.
I don't know why I am posting this in the pepper thread, but gave me a chuckle so... There's why
I mentioned this in another thread, but thought I might post it here as a bit of a "restoration of hope in the HS community" kind of thing.
This morning I played an arena game where I beat someone due to a perfect curveout to 6 mana (not only the mana but also the cards were perfect). He had a nice deck and tried to respond correctly, but I think he had virtually no chance. He had every reason to be salty. After the game, a friend request comes. I hesitated a bit, but accepted it, fully expecting a litany of curses (esp. when I saw that this game ended his run).
Instead, we chatted a bit, commented on the luck of the draw, and wished each other good luck in the next games. It was a surprising and pleasant start of the day :)

I always complant of jade druid.
On the pepper side of the things, I have'nt lost to a single pirate thing since the nerf.
I just wanna thank all of you out there that try other themes, build your own decks and try to do your own thing with existing deck-recipes! I love to see old cards used in new, imaginative ways - or hell, just to see some of the "non-viable in the Meta" cards being played!
Especially the Warlock I played against who played with Both types of Mukla! You beat me fair and square, good on ya!
I just had a hilarious match with my Control Shaman against a Renolock. We both had insanely greedy decks. He was running Malchezar, Medivh, Arch Theif Rafaam, Doom, etc and I had Cairne, Sylvannas, Chillmaw, Chromaggus, N'zoth, etc. I tried to pressure him throughout the game figuring that eventually I would play a big enough N'zoth turn to finish him off. The game went super long though. Eventually I use Evolved Kobold plus Maelstrom Portal and Storm Crack to clear his whole board. And what did that cheeky Portal summon? Weasel Tunneler of course.
The game continues on and eventually he has to play the Tunneler to make room for more life taps. It was a critical error. 10 turns later when I finally play N'zoth, I summoned the following: Infested Tauren, Mistress of Mixtures, Cairne, Chillmaw and TWO WEASEL TUNNELERS XD. Two turns later he is at 8 health. He plays Reno plus Shadowflame with the intention of healing to full and clearing some of my board. BUT thanks to the two tunnelers still in his deck he doesn't heal at all XD I swung in with Chillmaw plus Jade Claws for a very satisfying end to a 30 turn game.
This isn't really a big deal or anything but after grinding for like 4 hours this morning and running terribly back and forth from 16 to 20, I finally broke the first hump at 15. feelsgoddamnedgoodman

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Pretty sure I just played a new Shaman player. He silenced my Ragnaros. I think he thought that that meant Rag couldn't attack anymore. I was able to hit face with Rag for lethal without praying to RNGesus.
I was playing a C'thun Warrior with Pirates in Wild, when this Reno Mage played Firelands Portal. The portal gave him Fel Reaver, to which I immediately started playing the following song:
I'm thankful NA players are bad at the game. You really make my day when I swap regions.

Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
Playing against a renolock with a renopriest in low rank wild (17). Doesn't really matter.
He drops his reno, several trades/board clears later, he dirty rats my reno and twisting nether a decent board. I was prepared with a decent hand. I Confessor Paletress into a Anub'arak. Well played. Several BM emotes later by both sides, rope to disconnect.
Decided to try Reno Mage to do a quest and hoped to farm some aggro decks as I've been facing them a lot lately. Well. I ended up facing: 2x jade druids and 1x control warrior. Ended up winning all three games even though I almost went to fatique in all of them. :-) Feels good.
* I usually rape mages when I play Jade Druid and when I played CW I won all games against mages (not tempo) but I don't know if Kazakus gives the edge in the match up these days.
I'm really satisfied with the new ranked system. Whenever I reach rank 20, 15, 10, 5 or legend, I can now try out new decks, without risking to de-rank!
Wanna try out Handlock at rank 5 without risking to go all the way back to rank 20? Go for it. What's the worst that can happen?
I like it:)

Everything that isn't about elephants is irrelephant.
Blizzard didn't f*ck up with the nerfs, that would be the first time in 4 years. These nerf are actually goodn and now we actually have a more control driven meta!!!! And these nerfs have also implemented a new mechanic into this game: SKILL!!!! Thank f*cking blizzard.
Murloc aggro pally vs. Anyfin combo pally. Opponent tries to resist, plays Anyfin Can Happen, resurrects a bunch of shitty murlocs and concede. Anything can happen, indeed.
Had a "play 30 priest cards" quest to complete so I made a shitty troll deck with all the low cost priest cards and went to casual. I faced another guy with apparently the same quest and an equally shitty deck. We both let each other play our 30 cards. That was by far the funniest HS game I ever had.

Barnes wanted to bring out Aviana for a play. I had the 7/7 that refills your mana in hand. This was my turn 5:
He immediately conceded but I laughed manically at the situation :P
Every time someone beats a pirate warrior, there's a small celebration in heaven.

Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.
Sometimes going full meme actually works.

So many tryhards in arena right now. So many misplays. So easy to get a lot of wins right now.
