Ran into two Control Warriors today that weren't running Archivist Elysiana. Maybe they weren't using her before, but it really seemed strange. Just because she went up to 9 doesn't mean she's now worthless.
This is one of the first card that I didn't immediately dust upon being nerfed. It still provides extra value in later games so I can't imagine it being cut from lists.
Honestly, Elysiana has only been a good option when you're worried about bombs.
Otherwise, the Mecha'thun win condition is a lot more of a sure thing against the mirror and control shaman.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
I really don't understand why anyone would think that Elysiana is dead, you can still get 10 cards which is great for a fatigue deck. The thing is that now there aren't many reasons to run Control Warrior over Bomb Warrior as Rogue was also nerfed and Bomb Warrior has better match-ups in a lot more games than Control Warrior now that Rogue got crippled.
Because of all this reasons even if you chose to run Control Warrior it should technically still be better to not run Elysiana cause that card is only good and/or needed in the mirrors so if there aren't a lot of mirrors then you don't need Elysiana and will be a dead card in your hand 99% of the games.
I mean, even if you dust her you can craft her again later if you want to. It's not a bad decision to dust her in case she is not useful (enough) anymore and you can use the dust to craft something else.
I crafted a golden version when RoS released. Used her a bit and wasn't to happy about her. The change is for me personally welcome due to the full refund. I have no other opinion about her.
Played it today, most of games i played it - was a win due to high value of new selected cards, all not againts warrior (insta concede against mirrors, no interest for me).
The warrior that goes 2nd can just save his coin in a mirror, play Elysiana and Brewmaster on same turn.
Wow so you're planning on running a card that's bad (Brewmaster) on the off chance that you might go second and get the coin specifically for the mirrors while also saving it the entire game? Yeah good luck with that, I don't see any flaws on your master plan buddy.

That escalated quickly. I'm not forcing you to run Brewmaster, it was just an idea so pipe down.
It's confusing to me too. Tons of people ran Elise back in the day for extra value and a slight delay in fatigue when it mattered, and that only gave you 5 extra cards (at random on top of that). That meta isn't that far back in the depths of HS history to be fairly relevant for the metas of 2019.
Almost two years before rotation, doesn't worth to dust
Or you can just dust it, wait a few weeks and see if it's still viable for ranking, then re-craft it. I got one in a pack and it was gone 1 minute after logging on, no way it's better than literally any legendary in the game.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
I had already moved from elysiana+brewmaster to azalina soulthief. One card to replace two, and works in the mirror very nicely (you dump your hand aggressively, then play it oncethere are three cards or so left in the opponent’s deck.

I wish more people could think in more than one dimension at a time.
There are always these "should I dust" threads when nerfs are handed down.
Spoiler alert: THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS YES!!!!!!
The correct thing to do is to dust the nerfed cards in ALL circumstances, unless you know you are continuing to use it in an ongoing deck, in which case I presume you wouldn't be asking in the first place.

How is brewmaster bad though ? I've used it very often to bounce back Devastators, or even Town Criers, Dynomatics... If there's a lot of Control Warriors/Shamans in the new meta it's defenitely worth running.

Nerf changes absolutely nothing exept warrior mirrors last 10 turns less now so why would anyone dust it ?

trying out elysiana in my odd warrior rn before i dust her seems decent

all the nerf did was make it so you can't play her and then baleful banker her in the same turn. i don't expect elysiana to go too much in value.
She is ok even for 10.

In what way does it indicate she isn't dead if these two CWs WEREN'T running her? Ffs this thread?
I enjoy.
