the day wow goes f2p is the day wow is officially dead in my eyes. when an mmo goes f2p, it's because the player base is dwindling and the current amount of players can't sustain the game. we've seen this time and time again. there's even a youtube series called death of a game that has covered many mmos and it's the same thing every time. if you're waiting for wow to go f2p to play it, i hope you realize that the game will probably be in it's death bed at that point.

i think the reason mtg doesn't suffer from this problem (granted i haven't play mtg arena so this isn't a fully informed opinion), i think the creativity in card games comes from playing with local people. when i play with my friends, we switch up our decks and even if a deck is stupidly good, it doesn't bother us since no one has meta decks that cost hundreds upon hundreds on dollars. 

throw on the fact that real cards can't be crafted with dust. you buy packs or singles and use what you can. that aspect forces you to think outside the box. i find hearthstone funny but just never fun enough to keep my attention for more than a few weeks. i DID get that feeling when playing local tournament mtg but thats because most people (and those who consistently won) were bringing decks that could kill you on turn 2 with an infinite combo.

 oh no, i didn't mean to point that at you specifically. you were fine. i just wanted the peopel down voting me for my opinion to know i don't care about their opinions. you actually took time to give a thought out response to me without attacking me for holding a different position. i commend you for being able to pull that off. even i have trouble doing that all the time (and i'm pretty sure most people wouldn't see it that way even if i did manage it).

@ novexor i'm not saying it wasn't fun at first. i just feel like i'm not getting anything new for unlocking new wings that i didn't already have unlocked in the first wing. the final bosses are different and i get an extra class or 2. i just don't think that little is enough to warrant spending money or gold on it. that said, if you enjoy it still, good for you. i'm just giving my opinion. if my opinion hurts your feelings, get over it. i certainly don't care for yours. i play what i find fun as do you.

i spent a few hours playing the first wing. was able to buy the 2nd wing 2 days ago and when i beat it on heroic, i just felt ripped off. i'm not going to bother with the other 3 wings. it isn't worth money and it isn't worth the time i would spend farming the gold.

some more thoughts. i think blessing of bananas or bananic might might be my choice.

this is my thought. surprisingly, there isn't much hozen or banana art so i decided to use some pre-existing art and make my own custom art with it :P. it's basically whirlwind but deals at least 2 (also loatheb increases the minimum to 12) and can get stronger with more bananas.

all the nerf did was make it so you can't play her and then baleful banker her in the same turn. i don't expect elysiana to go too much in value.

 Is he though? I don't play zoo, but I've just checked some stats and in every deck he's played he's in the top 5 cards by drawn winrate (and often he's the best).

I understand that random legendaries can be trash and that even if they're good they most of the time don't synergize well with the rest of the deck, but I can't ignore the stats.

 This was my thought.  Doesn’t seem good due to randomness, yet every list has him. 

 if pre-nerf yogg-saron wasn't too much rng to be competitive, rafaam certainly isn't.

 It's not a scam, it's an offer, a possibility. Whoever decides to buy the adventure knows exactly what they pay for. 

 as much as i dislike that we have to buy a slightly changed feature we got for free in the past, this isn't a scam. a ripoff most definitely since you really don't get close to the value you should for the money/gold. but this definitely isn't a scam. blizz would have to have promised us something and then not delivered. think aliens: colonial marines. that game was a scam.

 Well, they promised  that after every expansion counting from KoFT we get a free single player content. Did you remember the adventures before standard came out? Same prize and same wings as dalaran heist but you would obtain ALL the cards printed for this adventure. So this remind me to the old adventures but shitty becauce you don't get useful cards, just random cards from packs and uselesss legendary. Come on, try to refute my post :D 

 i couldn't find any kind of interview from around koft era saying this but even if they did, they kept that promise by making the first wing free.
