Although it's pinpointing real issues, it was cringy to watch due to immature presentation.

I think it's hilarious, but to each their own I suppose.

Just saw this amazing video on youtube and I think this is definitely something people in the Hearthstone community and the devs themselves need to see. Other than getting a good laugh out of it, it actually brings up a lot of good points as well:

Don't get me wrong, I love Hearthstone, but this video really made me realize how much can easily be improved with very little effort if the devs would be willing. Maybe if they see this video they might get the idea to at least do something? Probably not, but one can dream.

Tfw your entry is on a page with 5 of the finalists and you're one vote short :p. There are (once again) some really great submissions here though so I don't mind. I'm going to miss participating in these WCDC's (though I didn't always participate), I hope it won't be too long until they will start on the new site!

Especially because wasn't Witch's brew shaman's "callback card" where they brought back an old mecanic?  Priest had forbidden words, warrior had omega, warlock had...idk who cares about warlocks, and shaman had echo, but there is no echo on the card.  Seems dumb.

Why the hate for warlock lol? I think the only callback card for warlock is Arch-Villain Rafaam, he's a callback to the Golden Monkey.

You don't need Glinda because  SN1P-SN4P already has echo on its own. Glinda is only necessary for this combo when you use any other magnetic mech since none of them have echo.

I mean, even if you dust her you can craft her again later if you want to. It's not a bad decision to dust her in case she is not useful (enough) anymore and you can use the dust to craft something else.

D&D :  We really hope this ending is like Breaking Bad where people were conflicted if it's an A or an A+

They broke finale records, alright.  For reference, this is several stars worse than all the other infamously controversial finales like those of Lost, the Sopranos, How I met your Mother, True Blood, etc

I am seriously disgusted that they even dare compare their work to Breaking Bad. These guys become more unlikeable by the day.

I was just reminded by a post on r/Freefolk that the only purpose of the horse that Arya rode away on at the end of episode 5 was to make it look cool. Once again they show us that they don't care at all about logic as long as it makes a scene look good.

Just watched the ending. Honestly, after the last three episodes which I all hated with a passion I didn't expect much from the last episode. I still hated the first half for all the reasons I hated the last episode. The rest of the episode just left me with an empty feeling. This isn't a bittersweet ending like GRRM told us we would get, this felt more like a fairytale ending, but whatever.

I guess I'm just glad we won't get any more disappointing episodes of Game of Thrones and I can just rewatch seasons 1-4 and try to pretend it all ends there. I also hope GRRM finishes his books (though I am sceptical about that) and delivers something with the quality of what we used to get, so we will at least have something better than this.

posted a message on Dalaran Heist is a bummer

I have completed only one run so far, but it was an absolute blast. I picked a passive treasure that just did some random stuff every game (the description said something like: sometimes gives random advice). This guy made my entire run more amusing than I could have ever anticipated. Sometimes he would summon a bunch of taunts out of nowhere, other times he would change the manacost of a 5 mana minion I had just drawn to 10, all while saying stupid stuff like 'let me adjust that manacost for you' or 'that's a great spell, let's cast it again!'. I can't wait to try out a whole bunch of other stuff in this adventure.

Other than that I'm also excited to try out Zayle, Shadow Cloak, especially the shuffle warlock deck, since I haven't been able to play that myself and it seems like a lot of fun. I'm a big fan of Whizbang the Wonderful but a downside of whizbang is that there are so many decks that it is pretty unlikely that you'll get one of the ones you really like to play. Zayle may offer less variety, but because of this you're more likely to get one of the decks you want (if there is one among the decks he offers).

In my opinion this adventure also offers a nice alternative to the usual preorder. I didn't preorder this expansion because I want to try to not spend as much as I used to on hearthstone, but this adventure allows me to get some additional packs for a fair price and additionally comes with some great pve content.

Not into Eavesdropper. I play with the sound off and there are certainly deaf players. Also, think about the best/worst case scenario for this card. You play it, and you know every card in your opponents hand. That isn't fun, even though the auditory challenge and memory test might be fun.

Those are definitely fair points, I still think it's an interesting concept though and it could lead to some unique gameplay in Hearthstone we haven't seen before if everyone would be able to benefit from it.

Imho, Eavesdropper isn't getting the attention it should. And I'd Tap That also got a vote from me, because the flavour and theme really are brilliant enough to justify that.

I agree, Eavesdropper is definitely my favorite among all of these. Although I do think it should be at least epic in rarity (Someone at Blizzard recently stated that the main aspect that determines card rarity is the complexity and/or uniqueness of the card, and I'd say this is pretty damn unique). I'm also not sure if this is the optimal statline and manacost for a card like this but that is always something that is up for debate. Nevertheless I just love the idea of dropping this dude and being blasted away by a whole bunch of playsounds while trying to make sense of them.

If this video doesn't prove to you why Daenerys burning down an entire city of innocent people is completely nonsensical then nothing will:
