Only the golden card back is intimidating. The other don't mean much. Legend card back with golden hero usually means "I am here to meme you." Legend card back with no golden portrait means "I just made legend for first time and have brought my tier 1 net deck back to casual." Dalaran flame players are usually garbage playing meme decks. Don't know much about power core. Guess it just blends in with the other card backs and doesn't mean much. The pandarian cardback is interesting, these are usually players acting hard but probably haven't reached legend and struggle even with the strongest decks in the game. Nothing else is worth talking about.
No cardback really intimidates me but if I had to choose one it would be the golden celebration one, anyone can get the other ones, no matter what, good or bad players can have all the others, but that golden one is like bitch I'm a pro or something close, still not like it makes me tilted or or nervous at all.
Not really intimidated by a card back, but I feel a personal challenge issued when playing against a Pirate card back, considering I'm 100% loyal to the Ninja card back.
Assuming I'm remembering correctly, my answer is Heroic Naxxramas. At least, before people had access to future cards; if you acquired Heroic Naxxramas with only the original tools, it's 'cause you fucking worked for it.
Legend is an achievement, but one could argue it has lost some of its "value", like golden heroes. In some ways, Legend speaks more to your patience than it does to your overall skill level.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
I find the new Lemonade card-back highly intimidating

LUL I mostly use Pandaria cardback nowadays; reached Legend every season after first time getting there....and I reached it with different archetypes, with relative ease - sometimes on the start of the season if I have time to play, and sometimes, like this season, later on since I don't have the time. In short, you're generalizing a lot.
The reason I use Pandaria is to show people who might think like you that I'm somehow less good or whatever because I have a golden portrait (I have all of them golden), that I was here from the start of the game. I'd use Dalaran always if I had it T_T
Golden cardback usually only tells me it's really that pro player or streamer behind the name, feels good when I beat them, better than winning against someone who I never heard of :)
I'm only intimidated by Legend as when I see it I immediately think "He's here to fuck my day up". Whenever I see Pandaria I just chuckle and think "He hasn't played in a long while OR he's just absolute trash" since I only ever play between rank 20 and 15. I've never seen Golden Celebration so I can't say about it.
It did not require any skill to optain but was given out ad a free loot to everyone attending a 12 Dollar event in America. So it is NA only. It is one of the least intimidering card backs possible.
Power Core I can understand. At least you had to qualify although you could lose all your games.
I am with LingBlade91. Heroic wings are something you deserve once you complete them.

Dalaran Flame is the college affiliated card back…
And the one you speak of when attending to approved esport events is Power Core.. you can get it by either participating or attending to official tournaments.
Which card backs are you most afraid of when playing a ranked game ?
What are the most intimidating card backs in the game!
For me it's: Golden Celebration ---> Dalaran Flame ---> Power Core ---> Legend

Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.
I vote for Cupcake, because the opponent uses psychology to distract me from game and force me to have a cupcake.

I have Dalaran Flame and Pandaria, but don’t use them - when I did, people try harder against me. xD
I played “Orange” the other day, who used the Thrill of Victory cardback. No idea if it was the real one though.
None.
Is there idk what card beck u have option

You can't stop the signal.
The regular cardback.
Its going to be one of two things, a hearthstone god blessed by Brode himself or a noob. Can’t say which is worse to face.

Why is Dalaren Flame on this list?

If any, Pandaria. That usually tells me I don't have any margin to misplay, and I'm usually right.
I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.
Default cardback is scary.
You are facing a Barbarian player, and you don't know whether it is just a careless guy or a relentless juggernaut.

Rainbows and cupcakes.
