     I've mainly played hunter since I came into this game last year and two Tracking seems to be almost automatic whenever it comes to any deck which isn't a highlander.  I understand the appeal of the card as it can assist in locating the perfect card when looking for lethal or in an attempt to get out of a tight spot but far too often I find the discarding aspect to be too punishing.  I feel like most hunter decks are either aggressive or midrange with no additional value generation so potentially throwing away 13% of your deck is something it can ill afford.

     I've tried a lot of decks out with various implementations of Tracking and I feel that including one while replacing the other with an additional tech card really is the sweet spot for me.

    that's a really wrong way to think about it...with such an aggresive deck like Face/Dragon Hunter, you're not gonna win through value, by playing all of your 30 cards - you're gonna win or lose with playing maybe around 10 of them - cards discarded by tracking you should consider as being at the bottom of your deck anyway.

    What rank was this played at? I have some doubt if it was on higher ranks since I watched a part of the VOD, and you blocking yourself from lethal against a Priest by playing Umberwing first was painful to watch, nhf.

    Might try it because I'm in the dumpster anyways.

    I played Magtheridon in Gala Warlock day 1 of expansion (before everyone refined Gala Warlock), because I got it in a pack...the card single-handedly defeated a number of Demon Hunters...cut it now that DH is not so prevalent

    Because the whole point of the MMR system is that you should play people close to your skill level. It DOESN'T MATTER WHAT RANK YOUR OPPONENT IS, if you're EQUAL IN SKILL. You have to grind out the climb to Legend tho, it's not as easy as playing 20 games and there, you're in.

    Also, I have people on my friendslist who are 15k+...this is gonna be the season with the most Legend players ever.

And they have been playing for so long and took so long to build up their collection and dust that they’re too dedicated at this point as well.

     I'd say there is more skill than 15-20%, even with the massive RNG, 0-1 mana cards worth 60 mana etc. bullshit, because for example, I played Mech Paladin (with Kangors) a while back when the RNG was lighter tho, had a cruise over ~80 games with around 80%, until around 200 Legend....and then hit a brick wall..people were playing the SAME decks, but played quite a bit better than people below them, dropped my winrate all the way down to like 55%. 

    Truth is there is too much bullshit RNG, but I think the skill part is that you now have to know how to get into those situations, or out of them (allowing RNG to happen, not dealing with the consequences).

    With the last part, about having been playing for far too long to quit, I 100% agree, I've been playing basically only this game for over 6-7(?) years, far too invested in it to drop it.

    Played one game in Legend, lost in fatigue to Control Warrior (they're back) who had Elysiana...so, I think this needs Elysiana as well? I'd cut one Storm Chaser probably, gonna try some more games these days.

    Wardruid Loti is such a flexible card, when it announced, I thought like every druid deck would have it, well unfortunately it is not played that much.
    Commander Rhyssa I think the card is in the wrong class though. Hunter maybe? I'm not so sure but some paladin secrets do nothing if they trigger twice.
    Dragon Soul is another one I think. We all know what priest did with Lyra the Sunshard. I am actually surprised that such an ongoing, hard to counter mechanic is actually not good. I thought that like even if it got activated once it would mean value but whatever.
    Madame Lazul omg man I actually cannot believe that this card is not good. 3 mana 3/2 that shows 3 cards your opponent is holding and gives you a copy of one of them... I thought it would be crazy.
    Krul the Unshackled I thought this card will be used to summon 2 Doomguards and some other huge demons but I never seen it on ladder.
    Hobart Grapplehammer buffs every weapon in your hand AND deck, and comes as a 2 mana 2/2. oh boi I dont know but it sounded so crazy to me at first.
    Murozond the Infinite I mean c'mon, get a copy of a possible good turn and get a free 8/8? sounded broken.

    and finally, Illidan Stormrage just doesn't deserve to be such a weak card. one of the most iconic characters in lore, but never sees any play in hearthstone.

    Err, Wardruid Loti is a key card in Quest Druid, and probably not a bad rng outcome to get into your hand

    I'd go with Boompistol Bully tbh, Poacher is wrong imo, seems reactive and we want to smash face most of the time...Bully disables the opponent as well as presenting a 5/5 body, feels like a good choice even though it's not a Dragon itself.

    You could try and run an Explosive trap, seen quite a bit of people teching that in as well

     It discovered a copy of a card in your opponent's deck, which is not the same, you can't fix that. Besides, most times they got more from netherspite historian. That deck sucked to play against. 

     Oh shit, I completely remembered that wrongly lmao, must be the infinite dragonqueen ptsp xD

    Although, I do think it stands that cards shouldn't be able to give you themselves as options, solves a lot of potential problems before they manifest

     I empathize and agree with this, and it's actually something I've talked about with several of my friends that consistently get legend. Skill still exists, but it's so much harder to make use of nowadays. I feel for the last year or so, ever since the introduction of lackeys and zephyrus, this game has gone in the direction of being an RNG clown fiesta where it's virtually impossible to play around your opponent's hand bc you can't possibly know what they might have. Zephyrus is hands down the dumbest card ever printed in the history of HS imo and it's absolutely ludicrous that it exists in standard, let alone the game as a whole. Lackeys are admittedly less broken but for me have no place whatsoever in standard: they are the epitome of what wild is as a format, not standard. With all of that said, you should know that you're not alone with regard to your frustration with the decidedly ridiculous direction this game has headed as of late. I know of several consistently high ranked players, myself included, that feel exactly the same way

     I second this post, exactly my feeling.. I get Legend, scamazing and getting scamazed along the way more than ever...
