Tirion Fordring Would be a heartbreaking loss - shame he doesn't see much play anymore
Sadly, I think his time will come. Maybe not for a while but when Blizzard wants to print a new legendary 8 drop minions for Paladins his time will be up. On the plus side we probably have years, assuming HS lasts that long! :p

The only card that's absolutely integral to a deck that's near to my heart is Coldlight Oracle in Mill Rogue. I'd also be upset if they nerfed Valeera, the Hollow, as it's incredibly fun
I'd answer to the reverse, and state that if they added Reno Jackson to standard, I'd delete the game.
Otherwise, I don't feel that adding a series of cards to HoF every 12 months with no replacements to the Classic set is all that healthy as this would undermine the concept of standard rotations.
Yeah I strongly agree with this, although I would argue that Reno Jackson would not be so bad in standard once almost all the support for it has rotated it out. I would like to see Gang Up rotated it for rogue since Conceal was taken out.

This thread could easily be called "The card I know is broken and if this game was properly balanced regularly as an online CCG ought to be would be nerfed, but I'd be a whiny little bitch over". It's a real shame - this thread justifies blizzards main excuse for why we don't have a properly balanced game with regular nerfs (and buffs), allowing them to stick with their maximum profit, minimum game potential model.

Please elaborate for us common folk how you arrived at this absurd conclusion when they whole purpose of the thread is to list your favorite card and whether or not you would leave the game if it was changed for the worse.

if they made any nerfs to cards already in wild, i think i'd quit. I wish they'd get rid of the wild/standard divide anyway. Hearthstone was a better game when the player-base wasn't divided into two formats.
You should definitely give wild a try it's actually pretty fun and has a decent meta! :)

Bloodreaver Gul'dan needs a nerf - A 3 damage lifesteal heropower on any minion + hero is just insane
Don't agree with this, it's the most expensive hero of all the heroes, so if it isn't powerfull you just can't play him. If you argue about 3 damage lifesteal is too much, what about a Priest? I literally got one shotted from 31 hp to 0 in one turn. So if you want that, atleast nerf the other DK's too because of their ridiculous powerlevel in general, but that's what DK's are about, they are unfair.
And besides that, if you haven't killed a ctrl/cubelock on turn 10 as an aggro player, you're already screwed, so it has nothing to do with the DK itself. at this moment, the only 'fair' DK would be Uther of the Ebonblade. 2 mana summon a 2/2 isn't even good to begin with, but if the community rated Pally DK the best card of the set, you shouldn't complain that warlock is too good now.
I dont think Gul'dan needs the nerf, I just feel like Dark Pact and Void Lords make if feel over powered... and possibly correctly so. Quite often on turn 10 you could have a full board of taunts and 5/7 chargers while still sitting at 20+ health 5 armor and be capable of healing for another 12-15. In those instances... yes Gul'dan bringing a 3dmg +3heal hero power is probably quite over powered.
If they did nerf Gul'dan, they'd nerf the Battlecry to only bring back 3 or 4 demons - that would make it difficult to use Gul'dan like a N'Zoth that just keeps repopulating empty boards after your opponent clears them.

I will be quite ticked off if they HOF Ice Block ... not quit the game mad .. but pretty pissed.
The Ice Block hate generally comes from Exodia Mage. But here is the thing ... Exodia mage is basically playing Solitaire, with a little RNG sprinkled in. It is the deck I play when I don't want to deal with actually trying to "play" the game.
The deck is far from oppressive. The best Exodia player out there ... Toast, barely has a 60% win rate. A "normal" player would probably struggle to maintain 50%.
But it is a nice "escape" deck. It's the deck I revert to when I am tilted, but still want to play ... so I would be pretty upset if that got forced into Wild format only.

they dont need to HoF it, just remove it from pool of randomly generated spells. then I have no problem with it. When quest mage has 5-6 ice blocks, thats where the fun is over and youre guaranteed to lose.

That is exactly how I feel. I have zero issue with Ice Block when it is bound by the basic rules of the game (ie: 2 copies max of a Epic). It is when a player gets 3+ that it starts to become ridiculous.

Too many Ice Blocks can be too much of a good thing. They start to fill space in your hand. A 3rd block has saved me a few times, but usually, by the second one, either I can hail mary and start dropping the girls, or I have already lost ... so another turn isn't gonna matter.
I would almost trade the ability for me to discover it, as long as other classes can't discover it either.

I wouldn’t quit but I’d stop grinding ranks if they DONT remove iceblock. For all intents and purposes it has no way to play around it. A mage can know they’ve won, 3, 4, 5 turns ahead with iceblock and mass freezes depending on the deck they are playing against. Which is most of them. That’s just so incredibly unfun and doesn’t belong in Hearthstone.
I've played a lot of rogue. Mill, Oil, Jade, C'thun, Aggro, Tempo, Miracle, Burgle, Water.... etc etc. Backstab is in almost all of those decks. While not quite as good as fiery war axe was, it fills a similar space and does more on top of that. There is a reason it shows up so often as a hold in many mulligan guides.
If it ever got nerfed (cost to 1 mana) , or Hall of Famed I don't think Rogue would ever be the same for me and I don't think I would want to play it, and by extension, Hearthstone anymore.

I might quit if they added a card that read “Switch health and armor with your opponent”
That would be annoying. Cards that arbitrarily flip the game make it less of a strategy game and more like candyland
Reno and Yogg, wait...
And i don’t even play Paladins

Yes it is, I can't remember what set it was a part of though. I'll check and report back! :)
Edit: Yeah, it was part of Black-Rock Mountain.

I think no nerf would make me leave the game.
But i would be severely upset if they changed Coldlight Oracle and Shadowstep, since they are the core of Mill Rogue.
I'd be ok with HoF of whatever card tho.
I'd be salty if they changed N'zoth, but he's going to the great pile of unused wild cards in the sky soon anyway.
Look at this thing and let me know what you think!
