You Fist (of) Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion !
Don't see this card being played seriously.
New tempo-themed deck. Variety of discard-minions like Doomguard and Deathwing. Not meant to be played but discarded. Will have to see the rest of warlock cards to see if there's any other new additional cards that synergies with this
People are seriously whining about this card, for real ?
1. It not overcosted. Think swipe. How many times do you need to swipe a single target ? Very often.
2. It can easily replace Imp-losion (or shadowbolt for new players)
3. It makes "Discard" card way more interesting
4. It's a new mechanic, it's the first card, that the reason it's not OP (think flame leviathan) and there are obviously more coming.
5. It makes deathwing (and succube?) playable and not only pure gimmick.
You forgot about a little, little detail... it's target is a random enemy, who can even be the enemy hero instead of a minion when you need to remove something from the board. So, it is not like swipe and it can't replace imp-losion or shadowbolt. We will see it in constructed? There is a chance in some zoo decks, but surely not by replacing imp-losion.
Cool card may make ''bad'' cards such as Soulfire and Succubus good ( again ). Other than that shouldn't be called Fist of Archimonde ? Based on the artwork ? And what's up with Jaraxxus being so popular in Hearthstone ? He was a minor raid boss in Argent Tournament in WoW. Not like Archimonde, one of the most powerful demons that shaped and had an impact in the entire Warcraft Universe.
Yeah, f..ck Jaraxxus, we want Archimonde! Blizzard please...
This is a card that I think is ahead of its time. Yes, we have both Succubus, Doomguard and Soul Fire for example, but one would need more for this to truly become viable.

Do zoo even run imp-losion ? If it does, then yes fist of jarraxus can replace it imo.
What? Do you know what VALUE means? Imp-losion is one of the best cards zoo players runs, they are not going to replace it. And if you don't know already that zoo players run Imp-losion, well... you don't know too much about this game.

You love to think you're the best right ? It's cute
LMAO
Why? Because I know that Imp-losion is being run by zoo players like a lot of people that actually play the game already does? Give me a break man...
no, because you imply that I don't know the current zoo decklist = I know nothing about the game
"lmao" even cuter
Have some matches with me soon, show me your skill, zoo guy :)
On topic before I get banned, this card is playable period, it's not wisp material.
I said you don't know too much about this game, not nothing, but you need to know the decks were this card can be played before making assumptions like that.
Also, yeah this card can see play, it is not totally garbage. And I usually don't play zoo but I play against it on ladder a lot.
But, I'm going to leave this conversation here, it's getting a bit ridiculous.
I don't know what they were thinking when designing the warlock cards for this expansion. I could see this being played if the discard effect was powerful enough to rely on the rng gods but 4 random damage is hardly game changing.
The card could perfectly be targeted damage while played from the hand and random damage when discarded and it would still be balanced enough to not see play in constructed (but at least it wouldn't be trash in arena).
I think this coupled with Demonfuse gives warlocks 2 of the worst cards ever printed in HS (and on the same expansion to boot!).

Pfft. Argue this card is bad all you want, but you cannot argue this as being worse than say, Majordomo Executus
I can probably see myself using this, but only after T5 when i want to drop a Doomgaurd legitly (which i never want to do). Im never going to play Succubus, and im probably never going to play Soulfire again, so this cards usefulness is pretty low.
If i am needing my shadowflame and instead draw something like this, i would probably cry.

At least Majordomo is a fun card. And there was actually a mage deck built around it that made it to Legend a few seasons back.
This card on the other hand is just rock bottom trash tier in both arena and constructed. I get the idea behind it with trying to turn the discard mechanic into a bonus instead of a penalty but for that to work (in constructed) the card has to be either playable with a minor bonus when discarded or unplayable with major discard bonus. This one is just unplayable for it's cost with a mediocre bonus (seriously, you get a 50% chance bonus at best to hit what you want unless your going for face on a empty board).
Edit: Btw, I think what people defending this card are forgetting is that you actually have to cut a space for it in your deck. If you magically got this in your hand mid-game then all of a sudden it's not so bad since you don't really have to play it, just cash on the upside if it actually happens.
