I'm definitely trying new token druid version with this, Violet Teacher, Echoing Ooze, Power of the Wild and buffs like Mark of the Wild and Dark Whispers
Thanks to this card, we have the new biggest Emperor-less otk with druid! Aviana + malygos + 2x innervate +2x faceless +2x moonfire +2x living roots = 66 damage from an empty board.
Looks good, except for the fact I have more chances to win the lotto than having the cards to do the combo.
Well since when practicality and pure fun have walked hand in hand? :P
The problem with using crazy decks like that, is that the meta will smash you.
For example: it may be fun winning with TotalBiscuit's all legendaries deck, but it's too slow for the meta, you'll win 1 game every 70 matches.
No one is saying you can't be creative, but the meta puts a limit in the creativity, if you know what I mean.
Uhhh, I don't love it. I don't think druid needs a damaging spell with the like of Wrath and Swipe, and summoning two 1/1's can't possibly have a board impact. I'm not sure I see any use for this.
Mark my words: this will be an anti aggro staple and probably replace zombie chow... it still trades one for one against most two drops and against face hunter it is likely a 2 for one for 1 mana... and it is not as bad as chow against control!

Two 1/1s can definitely have board impact. Dump them behind a belcher, and now you very likely have a bunch of tokens left to roar with.
Two 1/1s is anti-aggro (leper gnome, worgen, webspinner, etc)
1 mana spell gives you 7 with malygos, 3 with a twilight drake, and the versatility of using a spell is better late game.
This card is nuts as an anti-aggro card. Could potentially completely revitalize the Token Druid archetype. 100% excited about Living Roots.

I looked at this card originally and I thought, you know, it's a card, and you play this card. The card will be that card that you play so you're playing a card. So, it is one thing to play a card. If you're opponent doesn't really have any cards, the card will screw up the card pretty hard, and that means it's a pretty good card.
This could be the best card revealed so far. It has the versatility of Druid's "choose one" cards without the power dip that you see on some options. 1 mana cost is extremely important for anti-aggro, combo turns, and just filling out the mana curve. Two 1/1s on turn 1 is amazing that slows your opponent and allows you to comfortably take your time ramping up. Honestly makes me want to play Druid again.
This might be a way they're trying to make a Jousting Druid viable by replacing 1-drop minions with a spell that summons minions, this means that it wont be drawn by Jousting. Cheap spells to control early game and jousting + heavy minions to dump in the late game.
Joust/Ramp Druid could become a thing. Mainly because this allows for an actual answer of going first in ramp without adding the chance of getting a 1 drop in jousts.

Give a man a Murloc, and he'll eat for a day.
Give him a Murloc Knight, and people will hate him.

I think Flash Heal would take issue with that.

Too different to compare.

I haven't but I've seen The Evil Dead
Current Druid no. A ressurected Token Druid? Maybe.

Lots of uses.

Azure Drake. #youknowwhatimean
Have you seen flash heal?
I mean, Moonfire in Malygos Druid is only one less damage for significantly greater flexibility...

not a bad card just doesn't fit into any existing decks. can be a 1 mana 2/2 good stats with no draw backs, but zombie is still better or smite.
How about a malygos druid? this spell can use that and isnt useless if you need it early...

Still waiting for Hard Removal for Druid

Why is it much better than Priest's Holy Smite?
Bad players whine.
Good players adapt.
