With one trade this is a 7 mana 7/8 -- not really worth playing over Ancient of War. The baseline would need to be 2+ trades, which is a bit too conditional in general, I think.
I think this could be really good for druid token decks. Other than that, yea I would probably rather have an ancient of war. Anyway, these new cards are definitely looking to shake up the meta *_*
This is alright in Mill Druid. Poison Seeds + Starfall = Close to Free Volcanic Lumberer. But besides that I don't think this will have any other area to be in.
Playable in Token Druid, but Malfurion got the worst class cards indeed. At least there's quite the heavy neutral legendaries which may see play in Ramp.
It's a 9 mana card. Inthe best and realistic scenario, there are 5 minions died on your turn, you play this for 4...and your opponent play the BGH, and you guys are back even mana-wise. Nah.
With BGH being rampant this is not a card you want to play. I guess if you overload your deck with BGH targets then i guess it can stick or bait out bgh. Why would you play this over ancient of war
Garbage. You waste an entire turn, give up boatloads of tempo and leave it weak to pretty much all the things that ironbark was weak to. BGH/Equality/sap to name a few all at 3 mana or less meaning your opponent has a good chance to out tempo you by at least 6 mana if not 7 or 8 the turn after this is played. Maybe it makes an appearance in arena.
I can see this being used in mill druid with Poison Seeds.
The main issue here is mill druid doesn't tend to use 7+ attack cards, making BGH useless. Adding this to mill gives the opponent a chance to blow it up.
Discuss!
Doesn't excite me really much. Kind of meh just like the other Druid card.
if earth elemental dosent see play, this most likely wont see play
The flavor text was awesome, probably one of the best in the game!
horrible, IMO.

I mean... you could play it after Force of nature but... that's supposed to finish the game. Not sure about this card... not a fan.
A worst Earth Elemental.

Will probably only see in play in Arena as a generic fatty to round off the upper end of your deck.

I don't understand Blizzard. How can they think that Druid needs ANOTHER late game, big guy taunt. As if two weren't enough already...
arena MVP
Poison Seeds + Starfire synergy potential?

Doesn't druid already have this card x2?
Well It's interesting non-the-less...I wonder if we'll see 2x Ironbark 2 x Volcanic Lumberer, 2x Ancient of War....meh I doubt it.
Can't see it working in any existing archetypes.

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
