The main reason Rin has been seeing more play is largely because she gives you a the edge in the Cubelock mirror, and Cubelock seems to be pretty popular in ladder currently. She's definitely one of the flex slots of the decklists
I myself didn't thought Aluneth would be this good. Never criticized Spell Hunter though.
Also thought Priest't spellstone wouldn't see a lot of play in Big Priest, one of at best. Couldn't be more wrong.
Wasn't crazy in love with other flashy weapons, but its funny how I thought Lock's weapon was a good one then changed my mind only to see it actually being run in some interesting lists.
Thankfully, I didn't fail any of my predictions because I didn't make any :)
I said I thought spell hunter would be fun but maybe not Tier 1 or T2 (so far, true - but it's strong enough to really annoy T1/2 decks, so i'm happy there).
The only 'firm' prediction I made was that, once again, Blizzard wasn't going to give control hunters the tools they needed to exist. (heal, card draw) and that was, and continues to be, 100% correct. I was kind-of excited about the new beasts they added, because I thought that DK Rexxar would be able to draw from the new pool, but we know how that turned out. Really glad they changed their mind about that - i just hope it gets changed fast enough to be relevant.
"Being the new black" doesn't mean that it's strong, but that it's very popular. The prediction was spot-on.
Frequency means popularity. It's definitely not as popular as Mage, Warlock or even Priest currently. And it's no where near the same level of popularity as Quest Rogue in the first 2 weeks of Un'goro.
That'll do, Huffer. That'll do.
On the third day before Witchwood, Blizzard gave to me,
three Handlock decks,
two Molten Giants
and a winstreak to Legend Rank #3
Disclaimer: This is a fictional poem and this didn't actually happen to me.
