Good card even in the second variant where you get only 2 cards which is pretty important since IMO these spellstones need to be decent even if topdecked if they are to see any play. Shaman and warrior spellstones on the other hand are kinda meh even in their second version which makes them terrible topdecks.
Don't know how to evaluate it. On the first glance it looks really promising, but I think it needs to be play-tested a lot. My initial thoughts are making a value elemental mage, but like I said, it needs to be tested to see how good or bad will it perform.
If elemental mage gets even more support (or next year when all the damn jades and patches rotate), this card will see some serious play it's a 3 mana discount on cabalist tome on that deck.
I really don't see why you would ever play this card when you have Cabalist's Tome available. To get to 3 random spells you have to play 6 elementals and the card has to be in your hand and If you just want a random spell you would just play primordial glyph. I dunno maybe I'm missing something.
Actually its only four elementals. Also if you have say a fire fly you can drop its token and then the spell is already level 2. This card is pretty good!

no im not....
Translation: Put a random Mage spell into your hand. (Play Two Elementals to upgrade).
"Add a random mage spell to your hand. (Play two elementals to upgrade)"
And then i assume the upgrades are 2 mage spells and 3 mage spells.
Cabalist's Tome esque?
I like it! Nice fuel for a midrange elemental deck but can’t be abused by quest mage. Hopefully this makes for more frost lich games!
2 mana Cabalist's Tome is nuts. I expect to see elemental mage become a powerful archetype just because of this card.
Fire Fly has even more use now!

So, if you get one of these from Primordial Glyph, does it keep the cost reduction after you upgrade it?

I think the art is wrong at the moment it doesn't change when its upgraded.
