Oh hey look more Freeze Shaman. Shame their Death Knight has nothing to do with the new archetype this expansion is blatently pushing.
Also more Murloc Shaman. Because more pushing of a dead archetype the previous expansion tried but failed.
Actually Brrrloc is a really good addition to the Unite the Murlocs deck. It helps make missing your turn 1 less of an issue by freezing the board and (trying) to give you trade initiative back. I don't think it is enough, but it's a step.
They know token and elemental jade shaman will still be relevant in the meta, so they are just taking their time setting up this archetype for the future. I highly doubt freeze shaman will see any play in this expansion, but good to see blizz experimenting other routes

I wouldn't paint it that black & white. Brrrloc can be heavily effective in trading situations and it shuts down weapon swings as well. I can totally see Brrrloc in Token Shaman. A couple murloc and couple elementals and couple other synergies (Jades) see play anyways without emphasysing on only one synergy. Shaman just has a very versatile toolbox which I always find a little scary.
Maybe time has to pass before we see if "silence this for one turn" effects are popular or not.
Murlocs are actually a great home for the freeze mechanic. Sometimes you just need to protect one or two of them for one turn so you can really cut loose on the next.
The frozen saltwater is gonna be deep this time around.

Hmmm. Really thought they'd push Elemental as the freeze complement. I don't think there's room for both. This card could make Ice Breaker playable, though. In an aggressive Murloc deck, you can afford to use your life total as a resource and face trade into big minions to keep board presence.

Never said anything about this card, sure it can see play in other decks, but nothing released up until now makes freeze shaman (the archetype) really competitive.
One more mana for more stat... this reminds me of shaman cards from the old days... Probably the fact that this is a Murloc it's going to make it playable.
I feel like this fits perfectly into quest shaman. Obviously because it's a murloc, but it also helps recover some of the tempo loss from skipping your first turn.
Might not find a place this expansion, but I think this card is very good.
It's a shame that as a class minion it's understatted. Still though, freeze is a powerful tool. If freeze shaman becomes a thing, this will see play. If not, it won't.
Not terrible, it's a pretty good stalling card against most decks, and it might help a more controlling version of Shaman use the quest. The freeze synergy is still questionable.
This is decent. Thing is that if it was a 3/2 or 2/3 it would be auto-include in any deck. Now it's more of an optional tool for Freeze synergy, which it accomplishes fairly well. Perhaps Freeze Murloc quest ?!
I think this is a solid card. I'm not sure if the payoff is there for freeze shaman though. I guess there's always Maly.

Time to cross that Murloc card off the bingo list.
Ok, fine.
My magic will tear you apart!

Nice card, don't need a murlock deck, The Curator synergy.

Most likely better than it seems at first glance. Super flexible and will see play.
It's a cheap freeze for Shaman, if the other Shaman freeze cards are ever going to work cards like this are needed.
