I don't care how slow this is, I want to run it lol. My golden Pyros is ready. Control mage is pretty much the top deck right now and it's not unheard of for matches to go to T11/12.
Seems like Pyros could be good with this, also I wonder if blaze caller's battle cry would heal you. That'd be pretty awesome, remove an enemy minion, establish a 6/6 with lifesteal and heal for 6.
Well, we have no idea what the Hero Power is, and that kinda is really important. The Hunter Hero sucks except for its Hero Power being a potentially really good tool for control, and we have no idea what type of cards Hunter is getting other than that, so maybe Control Hunter could be a thing.
Anyway, really cool interaction with Baron Geddon and Pyros, and even Anomalus with this one. If Mage gets just a few powerful Elementals that fill out its curve and has even statlines/abilities so that they stick and can get good Lifesteal value, I think it could be reasonable with a brilliant enough deck builder.

Anomalus wont work. the creature is dead so it is not dealing the damage. its hard to explain but the same interaction with poisonous and fiery bat doesnt work.

But Spirit Lash isn't a minion at all, it's a damage effect. So, assuming that holds up, Anomalus's Deathrattle could absorb health. I mean, it's an unplayed Mage Legendary, which is an Elemental, and this card comes out, for Mage, that interacts with Elementals. Feels like a mistake to me if the Deathrattle doesn't gain Lifesteal.
That said, that probably wouldn't even be that good, anyway. Definitely not enough to justify putting Anomalus in an otherwise pretty tempo oriented deck.
The mana cost is too high for mages. We already have too many high-cost cards and we have trouble using them on the same turn, that's why apprentices and glyphs are so popular. This is basically a turn in which you will receive free damage. We could do something with it if it was 7 mana, but 9 is too expensive, even for a more control-oriented elemental mage.
I checked this card against the Rexxar hero revealed.
This misses a shadow under the scroll with the name.. I'm pretty sure this is a fake.
I believe the English version was created by Hearthpwn staff, so there are bound to be inaccuracies. If you look at the exact leak, that inconsistency isn't there.
I don't know what the hero power is but the base text is terrible. You get a 4 mana minion with a slightly better ability for 9 mana. I'm just being honest If I had the choice of 4 mana water elemental or 5 mana water elemental give all elemental life steal I would probably pick the 4 mana option. Right now its the 4 mana option or a 9 mana option. Its value better be in the hero power and the problem is you can't even use the hero power when you play this card.

Wait, so you are saying that if there was a 5 mana 3/6 water elemental that made all your other Elementals have lifesteal for the rest of the game you wouldn't play it over a 4 mana 3/6 vanilla water elemental? It's hypothetical I understand but that seems pretty crazy to me honestly. 5 mana 3/6 elemental that would give all your other elementals lifesteal permanently would be insane.
Also don't forget the five armor. Doesn't sound like a lot but it can make all the difference. Like many here have said, it'll depend pretty highly on the hero power. I am perhaps a bit more optimistic about the card than others. I don't think the base text is that bad. I mean you get five armor and any elementals you have on board are now lifesteal in addition to the 3/6. That being said, it's only "ok". Not good enough on it's on, so again the hero power will determine the strength of the card. It's something like just put a 3/3 elemental on the board I think that is good enough actually.

It's worth pointing out that the "base text" of Lord Jaraxxus is worse, yet the card has seen consistent play since the open beta. Everything depends upon the hero power for each of the DKs from the new set.

I don't know if that's completely true, he possibly heals you up to 14 and gives you a weapon... This version of Jaina only heals you if you already have elementals on board.... well I guess this heals you 5 and gives you an elemental at 3... They are comparable at least... it really depends on the hero power... or this is all a made up mirage and we've just written 12 pages on about absolutely nothing!
That's another one of those flaws that caused by people making an English one. In the original leak the edge decoration goes all the way down the portrait just like the hunter card.

I think the point that's trying to be made is that it's impossible to judge this card without seeing the hero power just like it's impossible to judge Jaraxus without seeing his hero power... Not something about it healing you?

Do we know what the new hero power is yet?
summon water elemental

This should cost 6!! Way too expansive. At turn 9 you need to do more than summon a 3/6 elemental! And your hand may be empty by then.

Was this card finally confirmed by any official source?
Don't you think this card should be removed from "Current revealed cards" section since it's not yet confirmed
