Hmm... seems really powerful, especially since health often doesnt matter in aggressive warlocks. Unfortunatley this is kind of like Murloc Knight in that it limits murloc design space.
When I first commented on this card I some how didn't realize that the best card to combo this with ISNT Finja, the Flying Star. The best Murloc to play in combo with this card is itself. You get two 4/2 Murlocs for 4 mana AND you get to play another Murloc for free on top of that. When you get that scenario this card is actually pretty insane. That said, it's pretty unlikely so this card is still probably super-average.
not as bad as people are saying though.
Sure, board advantage is more important than health advantage for Murloc decks, but don't forget about your health (the 2 Warlock Murlocs + Finja, the Flying Star "combo" costs 9 health, Pit Lord never saw play despite it costs "only" 5 health)!

In an aggro match up this + Corrupted Seer on turn 4 should really swing the game in your favor.
So far this card looks ok, another big murloc in this expansion and he will suddenly look much better. Kinda sucks that he is Warlock though, but Warlock already got 1 good card with the Hellfire guy, so I don't expect too much.
Playing any card for 0 mana is about the most powerful effect in HS.
If this were true, Cho'gall would have been in every Warlock deck since Old Gods appeared. It turns out that when the card containing this effect is overpriced for its body and the pool of "free stuff" you can get is severely limited (individual Murlocs and Warlock spells are not generally very good): You gain no actual mana advantage and you throw away your own health on a mediocre card that you probably should have just played at full price.
Any Murloc we know of at this point is either already cheap or just not good, so the effect is pretty pointless. You might -- MIGHT -- get a powerfully swingy turn by following up with Finja, but then you'd want to build your deck without any other battlecry Murlocs. I'm not sure it's worth that additional restriction. Plus, now you're depending on a combo with a legendary, which is twice as hard as finding a combo with 2-ofs.

I guess the only worry I have is that murloc warlock will have dumped the rest of their hand by turn 4. But, if you have a target to use this on it's great doing exactly what you want to be doing.

Yeah but a 10/8 over three bodies with partial stealth that draws and plays two cards at the start of your turn and has synergy with half your deck is just a tiny bit better than a 5/6.
Warlock is the class that deserves the most bad cards every expansion, because it is the class that plays with more cards than anyone else each game because of Life Tap. Blizzard should really just give them a less broken hero power.

It's absolutely true. You're just blatantly ignoring the remainder of what I said: "But are Murlocs any good? Who knows?"
I don't know how in the world this would ever see competitive play and it's not really worth talking about as a serious card.
This is clearly meant as one of their patented "fun" cards. In wild with Murkeye and such it's a cool card; in standard it's really lacking any wombo combo. 4 mana, 6 self damage for a 4/2 and a 2/3 and deal damage to all other minions? I mean thats okayish.
Health is too valuable for these type of cards to see play... especially in class with little heals. Could see play with Reno? but better cards for that.
This exactly shows me that the majority of the forum does have absolutely no idea how good or bad a card is: Trash cards like Potion of Polymorph get ridiculous high votings while this is considered as Trash while it isn't. Murlocs only needs a little push to be a very powerful deck, it only misses a few cards.
The stat contribution is not good in an normal deck, that's for sure, but the effect can be very strong. And who knows what cards warlocks are gaining, there is still this mysterious potion...
We get something amazing like Abyssal Enforcer, the first Warlock minion that hasn't been trash for almost a year of content then we get this right after to derail the hype train. This card is all sorts of face palm, probably a worse Pit Lord on turn 4.
I wish it was cheaper. The effect has potential, depending on what other murlocs we see released, but you still end up paying for the next murloc, with your life...

Just you guys wait till we get our 4 mana 7/7 giant tinyfin..
On a more serious note this is actually good with Corrupted Seer in a murloc deck

To the people that are saying this card is bad, play two of these in a row on your third turn using your coin and then play a Coldlight Seer.
Come visit my Card Emporium. Strange things, you will find inside...
Come take the test, if you're daring. Feel free to show me your results in a message.
Eh. Might see play cuz it costs less than Cho'Gall but this isn't what Murlock needs to be relevant.
DOOM! was just a pre-emotive Yogg Saron, Hope's End nerf.

Terrible if drawn from Finja. Meh.

Yo those stats are out of this world.
