Too early to tell if it'll be good. More minion-heavy deck variants would definitely benefit, but there aren't many viable archetypes like that atm. Putting a one-of into my Dragon Warrior could definitely be a thing, however. We'll see.
Kind of scared of this card. 1 (or even 2) damaged Armorsmiths on the board? Hue. Damaged Patrons? Double hue. Damaged Grom? Triple hue (provided you have another activator handy).
If anyone though that Death's Bite will some day be part of the basic core set he better forget about it. As long as this card is in standard Death's Bite won't come back.
However while this card is great I think people might be over reacting. Patron still costs 5 mana and needs other cards to work, and you must cast this on the same turn that you wound the patron. Without Taurissan that's 9 mana.
If that wasn't enough, Patrons you drew with this card still cost 5 mana and still need cards to triguer that won't be clonned. It doesn't matter if you have 5 Patrons in your hand if you can only do the combo properly one or two times (The combo still needs a good board situation if you don't want to die.)
So yeah this card will see play, but it won't be as OP as people think and it's full potential isn't in a Patron deck.
You get 2 extra patrons and another Taskmaster to trigger them. If you throw in a cost reduced Whirlwind before throwing down the Taskmaster but after playing Ravaging Ghoul, you end up getting 3 extra patrons + 1 taskmaster + 1 Ravaging Ghoul. Or you could just get emperor to trigger just on Grom or this card and go Grommash -> Inner Rage -> Blood Warriors and get a second Grommash which is also fantastic. That's a hell of an advantage for patron warrior to gain while still having a combo that fills the board. I feel like this card is as good for patrons as Death's Bite was since no one is going to have enough removal to clear out 4 waves of Patrons. This card is also great in Control Warrior, if Ysera lives one turn then you may be able to add 2 more to your hand and still have 4 mana left over. Just adding these to your deck as your 2nd and 3rd Ysera is reason enough to run them. Now that I've shown you what it can do to existing decks, imagine running this as your second copy of C'Thun.

I'm here to kick ass and play cards, and I'm all out of ass.
Its not only good for the patron turn but also on things like dr boom or whatever replaces it in control match ups you can get armormirths and acolytes from this in the mid game verse aggro and just like win. Super powerful card but another dead card most of the time and im not sure if patron needs that to be successful, it really needs deaths bite. Not sure how playable this card is because it replies on the playablity of patron style warrior, which might be nothing despite the additon of a lot of patron cards.
Injure Elise, use this, play her again and stay a turn further from fatigue. Or use it to stock your hand with small minions in late game to golden monkey into something more useful. Or molten reno warrior time?
I haven't seen anyone saying that this will shake the meta. The poll is troll material it's irrelevant. A card can be good and not affect the meta you know. Would you say Keeper of Uldaman affects the meta ?
Scroll through the thread a bit. There's lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth about how this will make patron warrior unstoppable etc. And yes, Keeper affects the meta. It's a staple card in a wildly popular deck, and it hugely improves the deck's ability to deal with large minions. Blood Warriors is not going to see as much play or have as much of an impact. Which is fine! Cards don't have to be "good" in some clinical meta-oriented sense to be fun, or even to be important parts of strong decks (look at Hobgoblin, or Dreadsteed, or even Echo itself).
If I remember correctly, the Worgen OTK deck with Rampage was played in the first World Championship semi-finals, so I wouldnt call it a "gimmicky combo deck".
This card has a lot of potential, but if its only role will be to give the edge for warriors against other control classes, thats already a pretty big deal meta-wise.
It's not the only gimmicky combo deck to have gone deep in a tournament, but it's obviously a combo deck, and it's unreliable (that's the "gimmicky" part). So yeah, it's still a gimmicky combo deck. In any event, it's almost beside the point—Rampage, in that deck, is basically just an overpriced Blessing of Might or Rockbiter Weapon. It's not really being used "as intended." And yeah, we meet see Blood Warriors used that way too—just to copy a single legendary or something like that.
Hogger, Doom of Elwynn. Anyone remember this card ? Is there any reason not to run those 2 cards in Reno warrior ?
I'm surprised a 14 times #1 legend player doesn't see the potential of this card in other decks than patron. edit : okay i probably misread, didn't I ?
Well yeah actually I wrote an article about the playability of hogger, doom of elwynn, and I see the potential for this card, but control warrior wont run it and reno warrior probably will now that there are a lot less good cards, but a fourth thing I thought about was it in a mech warrior. I played mech warrior to legend months ago and it felt like it lacked a solid draw engine and this could work very well. but as it is not playable in standard I thought I might as well not talk about it. This card is much much worse than echo and a spell intensive midrange deck wouldnt play that card so I am not sure if a midrange deck would want to run that card. Dont really think you can run this in aggro because of the lack of minions in face warrior.
That is just some reasoning that I didnt type haha I would like to hear why you think this card has more potential than I am giving it.

There is no need to have enough removals to clear 4 waves of patrons because there won't be 4 waves of patrons. Being realistic you just two waves of patrons and two very expensive 3/3 because by the time you try to do it the 3º time will already use all your self-wounding effects (unless you are saving all of them for them to do 4 waves but if you do you'll provably be dead before you do it the 1º time anyway.)
In Patron warrior it will be used as a 1 of so you don't need to wait to get the 2º one but you will still do the combo reliably twice, no matter how many patrons you have in your hand.
Dude. If you dupe the Ravaging Ghoul and the Taskmaster then you do in fact get 3 waves of patrons, though they do get weaker after the second one.

I am surprised that so many ones think this card is very good. I think this card is bad, or niche at best.
With a deck that does not intend to go into fatique (aka aggro/midrange), this card is almost always a worse Battle Rage (one more mana, draw one less). Even in patron warrior, if you actually get value from this card, say you got 4 patron, you won't actually have enough cards to combo them out, since other combo pieces (spells/Death's Bites) cannot be 'echoed', and patron on its own is quite terrible.
For this card to shine, it has to be in a control/fatique deck, where having more resources is better than drawing more cards. Against other control/fatique decks, having one or two extra threats can be game-winning. But still, this card requires setup. The fact that you cannot just molten -> molten -> this -> repeat really hurt this card's viability.

The best part is that Warrior can pull off making a board full of molten giants easy since they have tons of ways to damage their own minions and they can survive after taking a ton of damage better than most classes.

If you were only going to use it to copy a single battlecry minion like Elise, Reno, or C'thun, why not just use a Youthful Brewmaster? It's cheaper and doesn't require an activator.
Maybe not quite as good as Echo of Medivh because you have to play Whirlwind to get the full effect. It's a cheaper combo after Emperor Thaurissan though, and if you manage to duplicate him too you have pretty much won the game.
A lot of decks will try to make this work, but the fact that it can often be a dead card in hand might make it tough to be competitive with. C'Thun decks are probably better served by Battle Rage since it helps them draw into the big C-man, but the more control-oriented ones that often draw to fatigue will prefer this card.

<c4>This never crossed my mind, how good even is getting 1 of the same card on board? But brewmaster doesnt let you keep the body on board while this card does.</c>
That combo with wild pyro :o
Just my 2 cents
Love the art. I want me a gold version already.

I don't think this is a patron warrior card, but a card for a totally new deck, or maybe an enrage warrior deck.
Another Epic. Ugh.

Amazing concept for a warrior card... Think in all the combo thing.
