This is a GREAT card for any Warrior deck looking to finally make solid use of damaged minions. I've tried a few versions of enrage / damage Warrior before, and they all suffer from bad card draw.
Cool card, especially at 3 mana.

I do understand everyone's concern for Grim Patron possibly dominating ladder once again, but to me this seems like a more FAIR format for patrons to be good; they wont be so cancerous as they once were in the light of Warsong Commander's former glory. It's OTK vs non-OTK.
Guys, please - dont embarrass yourselves by saying this card is bad.
Its mage version is already very useful, its an excellently designed card that sparked a whole new way to play mage - the fatigue mage. Aside from that it found its use in some other decks.
That doesnt mean Blood warriors is a card thats going to be played in every deck. Im sure we will see some decks built around this card, and some warrior decks that dont include this at all. It could be completely insane in some decks, while useless in others. Isnt that the sign of a great design?
Anyway - this could spark a mill warrior, fatigue warrior, value warrior - maybe even aggro. Perhaps its much better in warrior than mage. First off, its manacost is lower - and warrior has an easier time in the early - midgame than control mage because he is less draw dependant and Brawl usually wins vs flamestrike.
As mentioned before, copying cultists in a Cthun deck might be amazing. The warrior cthun minion also gives 10 armor, dont forget how much that will help against aggro.
with thaurissan and whirlwind, this card can duplicate any 9 drop from hand, Ysera + anything on the board before. It also has an easy time copying molten giants, coldlight oracles and the likes.
All in all, an amazing card that will definitely be played in some form.
Look, Im not trying to say this is a bad card, but it certainly isnt on par with echo and is infinitely better in wild than in standard. It is a playable card that people are severely overrating because of the seemingly subtle difference in the classes and cards.
is this good in anything besides grim patron decks? control warrior doesn't usually have too many minions on board, much less damaged ones.
If you can use this to copy an armorsmith and an acolyte of pain after you whirlwind in the early game, it's pretty good value. Those cards often stick around for a couple of turns, so having that on the board around turn 4 isn't unrealistic. Mid to late game, it can be worth it just to copy a sylvanas or a ysera.
i cut whirlwind from my control warrior decks long ago. maybe the new 3 drop can be a good activator since db won't be in standard. idk, this card just seems too situational.
This card is really cool for multiple reasons. For one its kind of like Echo of Medivh for Warrior so thats neato (although it requires procing) and secondly it answers Patron Warrior's biggest problem against control deck which is that if they have a board clear that can kill your patrons you usually lose. Blood Warriors allows you to remedy this by giving you extra copies of your Grim Patrons so you'll usually have more patrons than they do Brawls. The only problem there is that you might not have enough actual Whirlwind effects for your extra Patrons.
This card will almost definitely see play in Wild Patron and may see play in Standard in some Control Warrior lists and in potential Standard Patron decks if those survive losing Death's Bite.

It seems Blizzard has really been trying to push that Enrage / Damage Warrior theme but people are ignoring it and rather play Control Warrior or Patrons. Cards like Sea Reaver, and other self harming cards having to do with damage and stuff get rejected by players all the time. I like this one though, hopefully we can dust of Sea Reaver to get value out of this, of course whirlwind and the newest Ravaging Ghoul will help with too.
Maybe some kind of molten giant or flood warrior will use it. Not really the best card for patron or typical control warrior though, since they don't really have the slots for it and would rather have actual draw. Generally this is like a worse battle rage.
If you want to fill your hand with 5-mana 3/3s and then take the rest of your turn only summoning one of them, be my guest.
You would pretty much have to fill the rest of your deck with whirlwind-like effects to be able to take advantage of it, and that's just going to make it weaker. If you don't, then sure, play that 5-mana 3/3 onto a board where literally anything after turn 5 can kill a single patron without hurting itself much.
I can see it as a one-of, but not because of patron, and probably not even in a patron deck (or if it is, it's because of the other cards.)
I've played it. And as I said, I think this new card will have a place in gimmicky combo decks like that, as well as in Reno/fatigue decks. But people are overreacting to it. It's not going to affect the meta much.
GG

What the shit am I supposed to do with 10 Grim Patrons?
Now I can make copies of Harrison Jones, Sylvanas, Ragnaros, Ysera,
And a gold card of this will spawn gold copies. Sweet
Such a dissapointment. Instead of creating unique spells for each class they decided to ripp off mage card.

WHY? WHY GOD WHY? The set was ok, it didn't really shine but didn't suck either. The living hell will be back ONCE MORE. Great job blizz, great job.
If you've ever tried to put Rampage in a deck, you will understand why this card is worse than Echo of Medivh.
Looking forward to a board of 7 Armorsmiths.
Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
Nice warcraft 3 reference btw, althought it is not that clear.

Yeah sure play this in patron. Play a 3/3 again for 5. Possibly out of whirlwind effects. That tempo.

Not as good as Echo, but costs less for damaged minions I guess. Not liking it.
