Would be amazing at 4 mana, not so good at 5 (it's the most crowed spot in Shaman) :/
Is 5 mana the most overcrowded spot in shaman. Now i rarely coment on idiotic posts but this statement is so far from reality that it is not even worth replying to
Yeah that guy doesn't play Shaman, the 3 mana spot is easily the most crowded.
Shaman gains a nice tempo with that deatrattler, and the fact that it doesnt have overload is huge. Obviously this is not intended for face-kidz decks, which in my opinion makes it even more attractive :)
Seems mediocre at first. Why would you want to play this instead of Doomhammer?
Because you're allowed to have more than two 5-mana cards in your deck, or maybe you're not playing aggro/face shaman? Maybe you're not building a deck around overload?

Three mana cards are more easily played throughout the game, so even though there are more three drops in Shaman that you'd want to play, Shaman is more crowded at 5 because you can only have so many 5's in a deck. There's also a work around if you have too many three drops with Jeweled scarab. If you decide not to play Azure Drakes, Hallazeal, this weapon, or TBV, there's no real way to use them.
A lot of people are saying "a 4/2 is easy to deal with" but forgetting, you do have to deal with it. And with 4 attack, it ISN'T easy to deal with, without losing resources, by mid-game minions (unless you're running a zoo deck). I would even be happy if it baited out AOE.
Exactly right. If you're playing a weapon on turn 5, then you're not exactly trying to flood the board with minions. So unless you play a bunch of little guys on turn 6, chances are that an opponent's board clear is not gonna do much other than remove your 4/2 that you only paid 1.5 extra mana for.
Well, in a mid range shaman i would run this card over doomhammer (even if its not nerfed) for 4 reasons :
-Your game doesnt get ruined by Harrison Jones
-No overload
-Not having to hit twice on minions
-Generating a considerable token on the second hit with the weapon, so ur opponent feels obligated to remove it instead of playing a 7 drop for example.
It looks quite good, but, as a closet Shaman fan, it wouldn't be the first time that I get my hopes up after watching a cool shaman card only to see the class farmed to oblivion by every other class.
This card will be pretty good in any deck that values card advantage. You can potentially remove 2 minions with the weapon and still be left with a 4/2 once the weapon dies which nets you some pretty good advantage.
I LOVE IT!

No overload, more controllish-style weapon (no need to hit twice, losing your face), free 4/2 elemental - like it. Will be good for Arena too.

I don't like this. The weapon is expensive and the deathrattle is predictable and easy to kill.
Maybe works in a Reno Shaman... Good in arena, thought
Oh no, what am I supposed to do with doomhammer in my midrange shaman? Oh that's right, I wasn't using any doomhammer Kappa

Pretty good card overall

Here's hoping the comeback is real.
really strong if you ask me, counter ooze and harrison, and if DH will be nerfed, this will be staple in most shaman decks
another great one for shamans :D
If evolution is outlawed, only outlaws will evolve.

One interesting thing to note is that the 4/2 elemental actually takes out Harrison.
One card that trades three times. Nice value.
"Infinite" doen't mean "big" - it can be small and have no end.
