Meh... If it wouldn't kill your own stuff it might be okay, I mean if it gets 2 minions (that don't deathrattle into other stuff) then it's already fine, but the possibility of killing your own things just makes it awkward. It's a very nieche card that will only shine if zoo ever gets out of control.

Yeah, but control priest will still be better than dragon priest, unless they are adding some crazy dragon synergies in this expansion.
Many aggro decks also run 3-attack minions, don't they? So it wouldn't guarantee a total board clear. But if Knife Juggler gets nerfed to 2/2 this will certainly see play, at least in controllish priests.
I'd rather keep my Cleric buffed with PWS alive usually. This thing have anti-synergy with the whole priest draw engine (cleric-acolyte) and the whole dragon priest early game (cleric-welp-wyrmrest agent).
Chances are, if you have these combos, you wouldn't need Shadow Word: Horror. Think of this like a Big Game Hunter, hold it til the time is right (bad analogy b/c no body and hurts own board but ykwim). Its an anti aggro tech card. In my reno thief priest, it has pretty poor aggro success. Adding another card that can help me overcome that will be very useful.

Wants to play Captain Cookie Druid because why not?
I think this card falls into the 'I don't see it, but it may get played a lot' category.
Its an early board clear, 1 turn earlier than Excavated Evil and Holy Nova so it squelches aggro; specifically Zoo and Face Hunter. Aggro Shaman fares better, but it still clears most of their stuff as well.
It does seem like Blizzard is going after Aggro and slowing down the game, in many ways, I think that's bad. Like it or not, Aggro is the introductory play style for new players and young players. Control and Mid Range are a bit more technical, and require a better set. I also think Control is a vocal minority, since most Control players are older and post more on forums, etc. I don't think Aggro will be gutted, but we'll see.
Seriously though, this could see play. Shadow Madness loses a lot of upside with deathrattle minions going away, and this could wind up being a better alternative. Still feels like it should be 3 mana, though.
RIP in peace Aggro decks
I'm only disappointed that this wasn't a murloc card.

While this card may not always work, it is still not strictly worse than holy nova/excavated evil imo.
1 mana less is a pretty big deal. Consider consecration and holy nova.

Will really depend on the meta and the rest of the set but it seems playable in control

Shrinkmeister Ysera then play this card if you already used your Cabal
that is a really sick card
excellent letter
Can be good vs zoo but no vs Hunter or Shammy - they rarely have more then 2 minions onboard at a time. Play 4 mana to kill 2 minions? Meh
goodbye agro decks
this sucks!
RIP shrinkmeister is leaving Standard
That's true but they're also getting some replacements with infested tauren and cult apothecary. Not as good but it's something.

Finally! Anti-Silent Knight tech!

A nice tech card for Control Priest.
