I can see it as a one-of in a Priest reno-style control deck, but not a 2-of on any level. It might be useful, but even losing Lightbomb, Priests still have a good number of removal options. You would definitely have to build/plan around not destroying your own stuff, but that's not hard to do.
I guess my main issue is that it's another reactive priest spell, but at least it's not too expensive so it can respond well to aggro that dumps their hand in the first few turns (smorc)
It... almost only kills 1 drops and tokens... so does basically every single card in the game..
Ironically enough, I can only really see this being played to counter priest. Even zoo, it has almost no targets other then imp gang boss/tokens and the 1/3 taunt you dont really care about in control priest... and the peddler that already got value?
Why does priest need a card that wrecks priest?
4 mana, kill your draw engine (and taunts and any 1 drop you played, and probably any 2 drops you played, and maybe your 3 drop as well....)
This card will be better in wild than in standard. In wild the fact that it costs 4, kills mini-bot, kills tokens from muster/implosion, works against warrior killing acolyte of pain, cruel taskmaster, armorsmith, etc.... It's a good card but might be too specific to be good in an arena style standard format if that's what we are getting, but will reck people in wild. It's plain good against paladin, warlock, warrior, priest mirror, and maybe more.
Only good in control priest. I can see it being insane against aggro decks (since knife juggler is probably being nerfed) and can easily take care of control warrior deck's acolyte of pain and armor smith. I would probably run one of these since it is very situational. In arena, this card will be pretty trash because you need to get your minions out on the board as well. Worth to mention that it can be used with attack buffs on your own minions to prevent them from being affected from this card.
It looks quite decent, but the set so far looks pretty lackluster.
Any MTG Veteran here? Remember how wizards of the coast were desperate to bring some sanity after the whole Urza's saga cycle mayhem? Well, Whispers of the Old Gods stinks of Mercadian Masques...
What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?

Need to wait and see what cards will be used in zoo/aggro decks after gvg and naxx go away (but likely some low attack minions).
But there are still leper gnome, imp gang boss, abusive, iron break owl, dire wolf alpha, void walker, peddler, argus, brann, Worgen Infiltrator, hounds.
Not saying it is the best card, just saying it is good against aggro/zoo.
This seems like it would be fine in Standard (which will probably be too control based for this to see too much play), but it will absolutely insane in wild. I mean, it's better than Consecration in most cases in wild, killing 2/3 minions though it wouldn't kill 3/2 minions, but you have Shadow Word: Pain for that anyway and if you let a Knife Juggler live from turn 2 to turn 4 (unless it gets nerfed) you've already lost.
This card is stemping kodo, on steroids, on a spell card. That's value
Not quite. Stampeding todo has a specific target, whereas horror destroys without discrimination. Kodo also has tempo in that you get a body with decent stats. Horror has no body and can be counterspelled. Horror has wording that is related to Kodo, however I do not believe that they can be compared. Todo fits better in a midrange style deck, whereas horror seems to be more of a heavy control style.
Not sure if people saying holy nova is a good card play control priest.
It only sees play as there are no better options against aggro. It is a strictly worse consec and is only worth that 1 extra mana when the heal save you against aggro(and you die next turn).
And people say why use this when you have auchenai combo? Then, why did holy nova see play? Both can be present.

I don't know, I think there will probably be control and zoo. Some strong zoo decks. I still don't think this is a great card. If aggro and zoo is popular enough a 1 of might be okay.
This is designed specifically against token paladin, or early game tempo killing against murlocs.
It's very specific, but it has its uses.
Its a hard counter to Battlecry Shaman Rumbling Elemental and Murloc Shaman Everyfin is Awesome. Blizzard had to suppress those Archetypes to give other decks like Secret Paladin, Renolock, and Control Warrior a chance to shine.
I think this could be really useful. It's just another tool in the bag for Priests. If you think about what Control Priest is and what cards they use, each card is not a one-size-fits-all solution to your problems. They're different solutions to different situations. Do you always play Auchenai + Circle as your board clear? No, because in some spots, Lightbomb is better. Do you always use Lightbomb to clear the board? No, because sometimes Holy Nova is better.
And I think in some spots, Fear will definitely be the more optimal choice. Just another tool in the bag guys, no need to compare it to other board clears or say we can't use it because another 4-mana card is better.

If consecration is a priest card or this is a paladin card, then it will be useless.
Not that now it is an op card, but it is still not garbage. Good in an aggro meta.

It may be a one off in control priest decks.
Guys this card is insane

Meh. I will just play the 5 mana board clear cards instead.
Posting here what I posted in reddit.
