So. What are you playing against and what is your experience? Im currently encountering a ton of Control Warlock varriations that seem to be extremely good. I started to counter queueing them with Reno Mage,OTK Reno Priest and Anfyin Paladin. Outside of that I also see the rise of Big Priest. In my last 30 games those classes were more than half of my matchups. What are you encountering so far? What decks might be ''new''?
Druid will just get replaced by the next broken thing, probably Big Priest. So in 6 month we will see Barnes nerfed and then.. They dug themselves into a whole with their errata philosophy. Its a much better approach to print answers in the next set (or the next broken card that replaces the last flavor of the month)
The nerf of Aviana was completely unneccessary the deck had a lower winrate than Token Druid. Just because a deck or card is popular and fun, removing fun from the game is idiotic.
So far at around rank 10-9, I've faced maybe about 40% even shaman and a random assortment of other stuff. The deck imo feels like it can be strong, but I'd say right now the top deck is between even shaman and big priest.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
I disagree. The meta has just reverted back to what it was just before Star Aligner Druid became a thing during Boomsday. I'm facing the same decks that I was before already (Control Lock, Kingsbane Rogue, Big Priest).
Very hard to judge at rank 5 because some memes at that rank (which is cool too).. but even shaman, odd rogue and control lock are pretty popular. On my way from 10-5 last week I didn’t run into one Big Priest (Praise Yogg).
Have someone experimented with some midrangey lists of Warrior and Priest? (I mean the Dragon or Pirate oriented)
PW is still really good at killing those Locks and Priests! Also fairs really well against Odd Rogues. Even Shamans are the only tough matchup from my experience. :d

they didn't remove Aviana kun because they wanted to remove fun, they removed it to increase design space. they can't safely print big minions with crazy effects if a 2 card combo exists that makes any minion cost 1 mana with 10 to spend. by nerfing the aviana kun combo to require an innervate also it opens up more possibilities for big druid minions in the future.

Aviana is used for OTKs, not Big Druid swing turns. High cost druid minions wouldn't all be limited by Aviana & Kun (only busted ones with above average battlecries).
I should also point out that psychmelon still limits the design space of future powerful high cost minions since you'll almost always be able to tutor them into your hand very early on, although people seem to skim over this fact.
Been seeing a lot of mech hunters as well as alower mage variants since the mana wyrm nerf, and some ressurect priests here and there. Also seen a few kingsbane rogues.
Noticed mostly a rise in aggro decks now that big ole armor monster combo druid is not around as much.
I've been running an aggro mech paladin with a decent winrate (rank 17 through 14)

What list are you using succesfully against Odd Rogues? I played Odd Rogue on my phone a lot lately and against PW I have 100% winrate in 7 matches.

I think they removed the combo because of the cry threads in the community. people dont seem to understand the nature of wild (and the core problematics of hs in general being too dependant on your first 5 cards)
Mostly Big Priest, Renolock, Kingsbane Rogue, Jade Druid, Odd Paladin, Aggro Mage. As pointed out by previous posters, it's the exact same Witchwood meta, pre-Doomsday.
Started the season at rank 22 and currently I am rank 6 with 2 stars. Only deck I've played all season was a custom variation renolock. I've had much success with it being rank 6 is the best I've ever did in a season, standard or wild. My win rate is insane with this warlock deck as well. But, now at rank 6 I am noticing the same decks are very popular... those are big priest, control warlock and even shaman/odd pally. I am debating on changing up my deck to counter these 4 but mainly even shaman and big priest. Anyone have any tips or ideas has to beating these pesky decks? Hopefully if I can answer this question, I am looking to get to rank 4 by the end of Oct. And push for legend(my 1st time) in Nov. Ultimately you know what they say.... if you cant beat them, join em!

Too soon - there is no meta yet.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

I only played 2 games but I met an odd rogue and a renolock at rank4. I know it's too small of a sample size but wanted to contribute nontheless

I've been finding some success with cubelock which has pretty favorable matchups against most of the meta

cant even say in be4 nerf barnes threads, because its already there https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-game-modes/wild-format/224525-resurrect-priest-is-the-best-deck

Wild player here. I would rather lose to any druid any time of the day than lose to the filthy big priest players .... that shit is infuriating
