Hearthpwn

I have been using the current list for the last few days, and having a decent success on ladder. However I am facing issues vs the Raza priest with Mind blast, they can down me even from 28 hp(highest so far) -  and he didnt even use radient elemental..

Not a hardcore player, usually playing to rank 5 if I am into hearthstone the current month.

Any tips to increase my winrate vs raza priest, or is the control pally archetype doomed vs the burst dmg -- paladin has always been bad vs combo decks, (given that raza priest is one)

Yea, and sometimes it works.. The dragons are resilient, but still if they have decent draws I have no chance..

The question is: will dirty rat inclusion actually increase your WR against priests, to the point its worth replacing anything. If you ask me 2 bone drakes are too much but i guess you want them for curator. Maybe try with 1 bone drake / 1 dirty rat. But still this one dirty rat would have to be timed perfectly.

Exodia mage, is not an auto loss. cause of Eye for an Eye.

But yeah, might try replacing a bone drake. However one dirty rat is rarely doing anything, unless ur blessed by god -- wait I am a paladin, I better be!

i would go -1 Doomsayer +1 Dirty Rat, effective also vs keleseth rogue, pulling down a bonemar/vilespine is really good, plus the combo with equality

use the exodia combo, that gives you a win condition vs priest althoug it relies on you getting your combo before they go off.

There are 3 natural enemies right now to control Paladin. Raza Priest, Jade Druid and Control mage. You will lose if you don't include cards that make your game easier. Against Jade Druid, you need to add Skulking Geist so that you need to rely only on the 2 resets you have to win. You can win the mage matchup by adding Dirty Rat (hitting any minion will hurt them), and THE only way to win against Raza is through Dirty ratting Raza itself or even big V or Kazakus. 

Remove tirion, nzoth, doomsayer, bone drake, crawler, hammer of wrath, and rallying blade

for cards to be added? find out them yourself, one hint is exodia combo, spellbreaker, and a skulking geist :)

my dk control paladin deck can beat highlander priest, jade druid, mage, hunter, basically all. Just play smart

If you have already one horsemen in field, you can exodia ur opponent with one coin and a secret from a hydrologist

Control paladin is one of the worst choices in current meta.

Honestly Control Paladin has such a bad match up vs Raza Priest that I would instead focus on having a better win rate against the aggressive decks. If you take out a bit of the late game and add second golaka crawler and two dirty rats you can probably crush a lot of Keleseth/Pirate/Hunter decks, while having a fighting chance against Exodia. And don’t listen to the guy who suggested taking out Tirion :P
