[Legend #11] - Miracle Rogue Guide
"The pleasure is mine!"
Zananananan here (https://twitter.com/Zanananan, https://www.twitch.tv/zanananan). I just wanted to share this Jade Elemental Shaman with you. The Caverns Below nerf brought Miracle Rogue back to life.

2. General Strategy
The combo deck using Gadgetzan Auctioneer to draw through the whole of your deck to your win condition. The amount of threats this deck offers is deadly indeed, Questing Adventurer, Edwin VanCleef and Arcane Giant. Tempo is key.
Sometimes it's even correct to drop a 2 2 Questing Adventurer on turn 3. You just win if they don't have an answer. Same goes for Gadgetzan Auctioneer, make them have it.
3. General Mulligan
Always keep Swashburglar, summoning Patches the Pirate on turn 1 is just insane. Keep Edwin VanCleef or Questing Adventurer if you have The Coin and/or Preparation. Razorpetal Lasher is also almost always a keep. You can consider keeping Eviscerate in tempo based matchups if you have Preparation.
Aggro:
- Backstab and SI:7 Agent are really important in this matchup. Preparation is also important.
- Keep Fan of Knives against Aggro if you have a good hand. You can consider keeping Bloodmage Thalnos with Preparation and Fan of Knives.
- I don't like keeping Hallunication, you want Swashburglar.
- I like keeping Counterfeit Coin, tempo is key
Control:
- You can consider keeping Gadgetzan Auctioneer if you have The Coin.
- Keep Sherazin, Corpse Flower and Mimic Pod.
- Don't keep Preparation alone
- Keeping Counterfeit Coin and Preparation is fine if you have Gadgetzan Auctioneer
4. Class Specific Mulligan + Tips
Jade Druid
heavily favored - You can keep greedy cards like Mimic Pod, Sherazin, Corpse Flower or Gadgetzan Auctioneer, you have a lot of time.
This matchup is pretty straight forward, they can't deal with Questing Adventurer, Edwin VanCleef and Arcane Giant. Keep Wrath, Swipe and Feral Rage in mind.
Aggro Druid
slightly unfavored - Backstab and SI:7 Agent is really good. I like keeping Counterfeit Coin and Preparation, it's about tempo
You can cut Mimic Pod and Arcane Giant for Shaku, the Collector, SI:7 Agent, Fire Fly or Razorpetal Lasher if you want to improve this matchup. You might even be slightly favored then.
Always try to clear the board to play around Mark of the Lotus and Power of the Wild. The only problematic card is Living Mana, try to find Bloodmage Thalnos + Fan of Knives.

6. Questions
How does your Coaching work?
First of all I'll ask you a few questions, e.g. What was your highest rank so far? What are your goals? Then we'll start playing some games. I'll talk about the specific matchup and the gameplan. You'll suggest a play and then we'll talk about the reasoning behind it. We'll also talk about reading the opponent's hand and when you have to take risks.
Ask me a question in the comment section and I'll answer it here.
7. Possible Replacements
-2 Mimic Pod -2 Arcane Giant +1 Shaku, the Collector +1 SI:7 Agent +1 Fire Fly +1 Razorpetal Lasher
Against Aggro
Don't replace Bloodmage Thalnos with Kobold Geomancer. Shaku, the Collector, SI:7 Agent, Fire Fly or Razorpetal Lasher are fine
Kobold Geomancer is just bad
why the fuck its always the damn same deck posted again and again by different players
because there is no other good rogue deck. So variations of this is the only way for a rogue player to win.
The title even states it is a guide for the deck archetype -_- This is the standard list shown on tempostorm and several other sites. The goal of the list was to explain how the deck operates, and how to pilot it in the most efficient way possible. I myself am upvoting this decklist because I appreciate someone putting the effort into trying to improve the game for other players by helping them win more. Complain however you like, just know that when someone specifically says GUIDE in their title, don't expect any unique deck variation.
Hard to replace Thalnos, but if you must, probably Kobold Geomancer.
Kobold Geomancer is just bad
Shaku, the Collector, SI:7 Agent, Fire Fly or Razorpetal Lasher are fine
