Blackrock Depths Heroic Boss Deck Guides

Need some help with Blackrock Depths on Heroic difficulty? We've compiled some decks to help you out! The decks used for Heroic Difficulty can also be used on Normal difficulty with similar strategies. No crazy tactics with Alexstrasza this time, all the Heroic bosses so far have armor.

If you've successfully defeated Heroic bosses with decks that aren't listed here, make sure you submit them with our deckbuilder! Remember to set their Type to "Adventure - Blackrock", and to write up a short guide to teach people how to use the deck.

Grim Guzzler Heroic

Coren Direbrew is your opponent in the Grim Guzzler. He has 30 health, 15 armor, and will summon two random minions for himself out of his deck, and one minion for you out of yours, each turn. You can use this to your advantage by stocking up on minions which will deal large amounts of damage to him in one swing. He will also cast Get 'em! when he starts to fall behind, and when he feels really pressured, Dark Iron Bouncer and Brawl is his combo of choice.

Dark Iron Arena Heroic

High Justice Grimstone is your opponent in the Dark Iron Arena. He has 30 Health, 15 Armor, and summons a long list of legendary minions. Your goal is to survive the legendary minion onslaught through whatever means necessary, which means control-style decks are very helpful. Whether you need to keep things in place, steal minions, or take them out in one shot, control is definitely the answer.

Emperor Thaurissan Heroic

Emperor Thaurissan is the final boss of the wing, and like the other two, also has 30 Health and 15 Armor on Heroic. You want to avoid AOE effects and keep your side of the board free from taunts. He plays with Abomination and Unstable Ghoul, which must be dealt with immediately through silences or temporarily by bouncing them back to his hand, or Moira will die. Aggro decks are very helpful in this fight.

Blackrock Mountain Hotfixes

A few issues with the adventure have been resolved via hotfix.
