The "I Can't Believe How Revealing These Cards Are" Card Design Competition
Entries are open for this week's Card Design Competition! This week's theme is "Seeing is Believing" and requires you to design a card which reveals another.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
- Your card must reveal another card or contain the word 'reveal' in its card text.
- Examples include: King's Elekk, Raven Familiar, Gadgetzan Jouster, Master Jouster, Tuskarr Jouster, Argent Lance, Healing Wave, Eaglehorn Bow, Armored Warhorse, Dragon's Fury, Deadly Arsenal, Spiteful Summoner, and The Skeleton Knight
- You may not use mechanics from The Boomsday Project. No Magnetic, Project, or Omega cards.
For a full list of the rules, you'll need to enter, head on over to the submission thread. Don't forget, you can only submit one card into the competition and you must submit your card in the submission thread for it to be a valid submission - the news post comments don't work! It should also be noted we have a dedicated thread for you to discuss this week's entries, so if that's your cup of tea, head on over to the discussion thread.
Not sure how you can define a project as a game mechanic since we've had cards in the past that have benefited both players.
Props to the sneaky troll who put REVEAL in their competition title when everyone is expecting new cards.
Deadly Arsenal NEW CARD PogChamp
So weird how there is only 1 card, Eaglehorn Bow, that doesn't reveal a card from your deck and it's from classic.
it has the word "reveal" in it. The rule doesn't care what is revealed, it just needs that word in the card text
Just an observation, nothing more.
Makes sense, I think the reveal mechanic was introduced in The Grand Tournament.
