Take Fun to the Next Level With These Six Witchwood Decks
Witchwood has been out for just over a day now and there's a ton of great decks out there to enjoy from a wide variety of flavors. We're bringing you six more decks that we think you need to check out.
HotMEOWTH's Combo Dragon Priest
Not too much new here which is great for players on the budget-side of the dust spectrum. Wyrmguard and Nightscale Matriarch are two excellent additions to the Dragon Priest archetype. HotMEOWTH says the deck isn't optimal yet, but some version of this should be good.

J4CKIECHAN's Zoolock
Zoolock got a lot of great additions from the Witchwood set and J4CKIECHAN has been having "an absolute blast" with it, among other decks. Overall things are pretty cheap but you will need to shell out for Glinda Crowskin, which honestly looks like such a good card for anyone even slightly serious about Zoolock this rotation, it's a must craft!

Taunt Warrior w/ Quest
As someone who has fooled around with some Aggro decks already, to say this is annoying to play against would be the understatement of the year. If you're looking for a deck that crushes aggressive plays and requires little to no skill to play (not at all a bad thing!), here you go.
Not at all salty about getting Hero Powered in the face with a full board that was unable to get through everything dropped down.

Aggro Dude Paladin - Odds Edition
I know what you're thinking, not this crap again! Aggro Paladin was one of those decks that didn't lose too much from the rotation and actually ending up receiving quite a buff thanks to Baku the Mooneater. With one simple card, you can now get two dudes out for the price of one and with all the buffs in the world, you can be one really annoying opponent. There is quite a bit out there that can hurt you, but this archetype without a doubt is still maintaining over 50% win-rates.
Here's the one I've personally been playing to get myself out of the dumpster, which is also a deck that has received very favourable win-rates from community statistics we've collected - over 65%! Of course, your mileage will vary.

Thijs' Taunt Druid
Who needs even cost cards when you've got Baku the Mooneater to play? Not Thijs and definitely not you! This deck was one of the many decks Thijs played on his 10h+ launch stream and it looks quite promising annoying to play against.

fun you can't have FUN here its cub lock or rush pally or nothing
Why do you think this "New Quest Warrior" deck doesn't need skill to play? It's not obvious when you need to use your Brawl or Reckless Flurry, or even quest reward
Just a question borned while i was looking these "new" decks: aren't these (at least some of them) new decks just (plus or minus) a copy of the new recipes that already are in the game? Am i wrong people? I'm curious!
Are you expecting decks with 100% Witchwood cards? I can tell you now that it isn't something that is ever going to happen! All decks that are the least bit viable are going to contain cards from several different sets and usually decks are indeed an evolution of what has been played in the past since we know what kind of synergies work well.
I can't actually say whether or not they're close to the recipes found in-game, I honestly never looked at them this expansion because usually only one or two end up being "okay". Happy little accident if that's the case - for the Hearthstone team.
Never said that i'm expecting decks with 100% Witchwood cards, Flux ;) Even if i'm not a pro i know how the game works!
I was just curious to know what people think about it because i've found so many similitudes between these decks and the recipes in the game, so the question borned naturally!
It's a pity no good mage deck is posted. I tried to build a few "handmage" decks with Mountain Giant, Archmage Arugal and Book of Specters. Thought it would be good. turned out it really sucks to have no spells and a full hand
Try archmage and book of specters with a elemental deck. It works really nicely. Lots of value with minions.
i tried it with elementals but i think they are really weak as tribe and the deck doesn't work really well against the meta decks
Whats up with the comments on this post.
Holy crap so much decks to choose from, i don't know what to play xD
Mean :(
"Im the shepherd HerpaDerp, ruler of all netdecking sheeps"
Come on dude, you dont wanna be that guy....
So priest just downgraded after expansion release and that's all?
Control Warrior is wayyyy more fun than Quest Warrior.
Control warrior used to be my favorite deck, so glad it's becoming even more popular :)
I crafted Shudderwock in the name of Yogg-Saron, Hope's End.
Peace.
Tess Greymane is much more similar to Yogg-Saron, Hope's End than Shudderwock is
