The only thing I hate in your deck is that I have played quite the same deck on ladder for 3 seasons and I dislike the fact it can become popular and obviously known. I like the surprise effect of this deck. Usually, people think I am a Renolock but hell, I'm not !
I've finally reached my rank 5 with this deck, which is my goal for every season. I've had a 60% winrate (27 wins/ 18 losses). My worst winrate is against druid, and suprisingly a 66.7 winrate against hunters. However, midrange hunter is a tough match-up and I feel it's unfavorable. Even if the deck is teched against midrange shaman, it's still a tough match-up too. I've met so many midrange shamans during my last push to rank 5 and I finish this with a 53.8 winrate. However, these stats include some results with the classic C'thun warrior with Thaurissan and doomcaller combo with brann. I have to say that the deck including brann is an auto win against control warrior but I've met 0 of them in my local meta. So this deck is 100% better than combo c'thun in a meta with many midrange decks. Unfortunately, I don't think this deck is really interesting to play. The games are very similar, which is less the case with the "classic c'thun warrior deck", where you have to use brann differently according to the match-up.
buffing it might be a good idea , it's a known fact that both paladin and priest have the worst base set . if i remember correctly the paladin one was so bad it didn't have any competitive deck until GVG . Maybe buffing it to 10 damage since it's random , and i will still be weaker than arcane missiles
Totally agree. Avenging Wrath is one the bad paladin's card. It's okay-ish against token decks but consecration is just better and it costs 2 less mana. Arcana missiles is hugely better because usually you are doing your 3 damage at the very early stages of the game. On turn 6, you don't really want to spend all your mana hoping to target the right targets. To me, avenging wrath needs to be fixed, otherwise it will be a bad card for ages.
I like playing in wild. It turns out that standard is not diverse at all. Lots of shamans and malygos decks, freeze mage etc... In wild, I can play my greedy priest and enjoy. So lets make other ppl discover this with tournaments
I'm currently playing this control shaman in signature. It's certainly not the best one out there but my purpose is simple: get rid of aggro decks. I find N'Zoth usually useless but I don't really care.
This minion is a nightmare in a freeze mage deck. Hopefully, Emperor Thaurissan rotates out next year so that we don't get otked by a freeze mage while he only drew half of his deck...
The problem is that priest does not manage to keep board control, weak cards, aoe destroying his own board. Whatever the cards you include in your deck you will always play from behind. As such, Volazj is a terrible card. Actually he suffers of the same problems than other priest cards : too much potential but 0 support (looking towards Dear Prophet Velen)

At least it's not a meta deck. I like it.

You are the one who said the ancient one is not viable when you said that your deck does not perform well.

I also try to come up with a N'Zoth midrange paladin. I'm sure there is something to do with it

It's definitely not the best suited deck in the meta. But as I enjoy playing decks which require to actually think, this deck is awesome.
