No, please no more Random Spell Generation for Mage...

Either way, this feels a bit of a clunky card outside of Elemental Mage. Remember, you have to play the elementals, not summon, so Frost Lich Jaina won't help. How viable this card is will depend on how many good Elementals Mage gets. And, honestly, I don't see it being that great.

Even if you can't fulfill the "Insta-win" condition of the hero Power, fact is that you're still summoning 2/2's instead of 1/1's which is still a huge improvement. And not just any 2/2's, 2/2's that your opponent can't afford to ignore.

Eh...not gonna lie, I am not impressed. If I wanted to have this effect in my deck, I'd rather run Barnes.

Except this card explicitly targets spells, not minions, so Quest Hunter is mostly unaffected.

You know, if people actually play Quest Hunter.

This card should give you an idea of how broken Mysterious Challenger was. Yes, Paladin secrets were bad, but you got this spell's effect as a battlecry on a 6/6 for 6 body. This costs 8, and you get no body. Yes, Mage secrets > Paladin secrets, but it should still give a damn good idea of how broken Mysterious Challenger was.

As for this card, it's alright, nothing too spectacular. Just a wee bit too expensive and the secrets aren't as disruptive.

Erm, question: Was it confirmed that it only gets attack when it's equipped, or is it for all lost Divine Shields lost this game? I know it was not mentioned in the card text, but maybe that is the case? If so, then the card (And Bolvar) become much better than they seem right now.

If it's only while equipped or on the board, then yeah, the two are pretty bad.

I will grant this brawl the fact that it has been a while since we last saw this and that Un'Goro released a lot of new beasts. Is this a good brawl? No. However, I can see why they wanted to have this brawl show up at least once.

Definitely one of the sleeper hits in arena, in my opinion. This card can become really difficult to deal with if not removed immediately. And quite often, you can engineer situations where, after the +1/+1 buff, your opponent is one damage from killing it, letting it grow even more.

The main problem I see with this is that, unless you coin it out turn one, you'll generally want to actually play a Fiery Win Axe on turn 2. But I digress, this guy actually works very well and I definitely see it being included.
