    I think skulking geist isn't that great to counter this. Cause you would need to keep the geist till this card is played and you killed it.
    That means that all other 1 drops can just be played so it is kinda risky.

    The mech isn't the problem and since a lot of the mech are only triggered with deathrattle this simply is not good enough.

    It should silence then destroy it to be useful for that much mana.

    I guess the first week people put this in the deck for safety till they find out what the real problems of certain mechs are and then they just go with 2 silences to handle them.

    I have a feeling it will not draw cards like valanar or even kingsbane as those cards get lifesteal as a bonus but don't have it on the card itself so with drawing it most likely won't work.

    Sometimes it is not about what the card can do on your turn but more what it can do if it does not get answered.

    It is a good way to force your opponent to use their cards to kill it.
    It's like you know the priest have that dragon that does 3 damage, sure you could play 2 minions max but it is better to play that third minion and force your opponent to answer it so you know it is out of the deck?

    Keep in mind that patches is going out early next year so if you're not that fortunate to have quite some dust I would focus on crafting cards that don't rotate out in march/april.

    Whispers of the old gods, mean streets of gadgetzan and one night in karazhan goes out if I'm correct.
    Patches is from the mean streets of Gadgetzan so going out in next rotation.

     This seems really powerful? Water Elemental with life steal for 2 mana if it kills a minion and with all the spells mage has it should not be a big problem.

     

    But looking at this effect I start to wonder if Ice Block will make it to next expansion or that this is their alternative for keeping yourself alive. They did mention in an interview they are reviewing ice block as it is a bit overpowered maybe?

    This goes principle goes up for pretty much all good legendary cards and new quest cards?
    I think it is all about putting things on board at the right time, so lure the enemy into clearing the board then play the better cards?

    I think it depends on your hand, if you have for example mountain giant in hand then I would not waste the coin?

    Would also not use it when you have for example emperor in hand as then you want to use the coin to play it on turn 5 instead of 6.

    Yeah problem is that they rely a lot on their destroy death and I just smile if they use it directly on the taunt or any random 5/5 golem.

    I think biggest problem is that we don't have an early taunt to slow the pirate warriors down, I think if more people play warrior which seems the case it might be better to drop 1 card for a sunfury to give your minions taunt in the early game.

    I personally won more games against warriors but you need to be active on board and make sure you have 6-7 mana after turn 4 and can drop the taunt to stop them.

    Use feral rage for the armor instead of trying to kill some 2-3 health minions.
