When you end up thinking that much about upvotes the problem ain't really the website itself - right? ;)

No diss intended. Just a friendly bump.

posted a message on Would you guys say 13430 dust is enough before opening 87 packs to get all the good stuff from the set?
    Quote from Legionstone >>

I like how you state such a number as a way to garner respect.

I don't really care how much money you waste on this game, and you should be ashamed that you believe this is a way to bolster your self-ego by the use of showing off the amount of dust you have.

No one cares about how much dust you have and no one will ever care.

Respect is gained through victory and strategy, not by money and popularity

Well, it is kinda killing time before you can play as well. So why bother a brain fart. We all have some.
Far more annoying are those kickstarter style guides "hey guys, if you like my deck 20 times, I will write a guide". Never thought collecting likes is being setup like kickstarter tier goals lel. But hey, this is the society we live in nowadays.

posted a message on Is Old Gods still playable in standart format ?

Just jumped my mind, guys, have an eye out for custom tournaments. Tournaments with special deck building rules can be lot of fun and maybe pulled of within the Hearthpwn community as well.

Ladder isn't the only thing in HS.

posted a message on Which deck makes you say "Damn, I will quit this game!"?

Wow. Pirate didnt expect that. Priest with early tools counters it pretty well.

I voted Aggro Druid. But Evolve/Swarm Shaman pretty much is on the same (hate-) level. Spectating like you play 1 minion and they play 4 or buff them is just a waste of time.

posted a message on Top 5 cards from new expansion

    Druid of the Swarm

Saronite Chain Gang > Thrall, Deathseer & rest of board > Doppelgangster & Evolve > free win

    Spreading Plague

    Bonemare

Not my personal favourites, but I think cards like these will heavily dominate.

posted a message on Why do people say this expansion is going to be so bad
    Quote from hillandder >>

What is bullshit is say this expansion will be "the dead of aggro", far from it, one good card for warlock and priest and high cost heros don't make any diference in an aggro meta.

You forgot to mention that cards like Druid of the Swarm are the exact reason why people play aggro: overwhelming the opponent with stats is more likely than the opponent drawing his necessary cards to regain control.
Who cares 5 or 10 drops when you lost to an insane Evolve or snowballing druid board.

I personally find this way more interesting than Un'goro, I am of the opinion Un'goro will still have more "meta" cards though, many of this expansion's commons do look a bit meh.

There is one big difference between UnGoro and KFT - the Spring set naturally has another impact cause a chunk of expansions and adventures rotated out. On the other hand KFT will add to UnGoro.

I feel like they play tested this at 4 or 5 mana, found that it was too good, and nerfed it at the last minute.  Just like how they explained the fate of Inkmaster Solia.

What do you mean. They test all the cards and pretty much every card could have other mana cost during design and playtesting.

This plus Defile? Why not just run 8 mana Twisting Nether in one card.

I guess it is usable for face burst. Fireball, Mind Blast, stuff like that. Or 2 Eviscerate. But a clunky 6 mana minion.. You can't expect that it sticks on the board. For OTK Kobold seems better since there are more combos.

Maybe a follow up to Burgly Bully.

I agree, normally you don't have (enough) small spells to snowball - it is the other way round where Auctioneer draws you the small spells which is snowbally. One Counterfeit Coin plus one Burgly coin could pull off both. But that ain't happening really, right.

Btw Rogue DK still kinda seems misunderstood how the copy card mechanic works. The token in hand mimics the last card played THIS turn and getting reset the next turn when you don't play it. So hoping for DK combo on 6 mana duplicates isn't something realistic.

A bat and an Explosion Trap in one card.. Some KFT minions have weird stats though.

Is this enough for Play Dead? Dunno.. One ping kills it so easily. It seems to be good with Houndmaster, ironically 4 mana IS the Houndmaster slot. I can see it for arena.

posted a message on [Poll] Which class you believe will be strong in the upcoming expansion?

Difficult point in time to do the poll. Maybe tomorrow would be a better time ^^.

I voted Shaman. Evolve and Devolve are just too strong for too little mana. The moment we think we can build synergies on board with lifesteal, taunt or deathrattle, Devolve and swarm board burst will end those intentions quickly.

Maybe also druid will see more play. Tempo Warrior I still cant imagine how it will work out. But many cards seem to push it.

Paladin - not sure. Druid taunts/Jades vs Paladin Divine Shield builds, who would win?

I remain curious whether Geist has an impact or not. I guess somewhere in the middle. I wonder how many of the expensive cards will make an impact.

posted a message on New Card - Happy Ghoul
    Quote from Myztyrio >>

Keep in mind, as the meta develops, players can start to play around this card by holding out on damaging face until later turns, and their board is already built. Priest is one of the few classes that does not have natural access to damaging its own face.

The only class to be considered not to dmg face is warrior. In case Pirate Warrior could lethal with less than 12 health or back in the Patron times where you could consider not attack face on turn 1 or 2, and then after Warrior gained shield it prevented 1 (or several) draw from Battle Rage because the Hero was still on full health.
Regarding Happy Ghoul I can't see a very good deck with it. I don't see it as an early thread where you might want to heal minions with Cleric on board. But yeah, healing "could" have more depth to it and maybe even bring Lightwarden back. I guess Ghoul and Warden just are killed too easy. And I don't know if I want to have Ghoul in deck instead of other cards. As a generated card this would be awesome. I don't see a consistent way to get it though.
I rather see it in Paladin with the new healing tools. Healing face, damaging another minion with the 3/9 stated minion and play a 3/3 at the same time sounds more powerful.

posted a message on New Druid Minion Revealed! - Druid of the Swarm
    Quote from booganzoth >>

Inconsistent with Stubborn Gastropod and Webweave.

Sure I understand that having a choice adds value, but class cards are supposed to be more powerful than neutral.

Druid of the Saber is strictly better thanJungle Panther even though it has Choose One, because it is a class card.

Druid of the Swarm is worse than Stubborn Gastropod because...why?

If it gets pulled from your deck or is Summoned any other way than played from your hand it is just a vanilla 1/2. Nerf for Evolve I guess. Buff for Devolve.

The art work and personality are great though.

The problem with Druid of the Swarm is its health in an aggro druid. You play this turn 2. Turn 3 Fledling or 1/2 pirate with 1/1 Patches and buff all of them which is 17 stats on turn 3. How do you plan to remove a 2/6 taunt with no drawback to get to what is behind the taunt. That is with a high hope the Swarm minion doesn't have a Beast tag because it reads the same like Druid of the Claw. Mark of Y'Shaarj would buff it to a 10 stats minion with taunt and draw one card.
Or Turn 1 Innervate Fledgling, Turn 2 Druid of the Swarm as taunt. Fledgling could snowball out of reach (too much health, untargetable, windfury, we have seen it) but Swarm will shield it from 90% you can throw on an early board.
From the cards in the new set I have seen I can imagine taunt and buffs will be an addition to aggro druid. Druid has the tools to make use of the superiour stats and draw the nuts in the early game. The same goes for that 5 mana card summoning 1/5 taunts per enemy minion. These have 1.5x of the stats from Living Mana tokens. Sure, it is arguable whether 2/2 or 1/5 minions are more aggressive. But you get to a point where other classes simply won't match such an onslaught.

posted a message on New Hero Card Revealed! - Uther of the Ebon Blade
    Quote from Nobogain >>

are the horsemen just 2/2 or do they have any abilities? i hope they do.
maybe one has taunt, one has lifesteal, one has divine shield and one has windfury?

I guess the hero power would read "summom a random horeseman". I'd say no.
Can this heropower be a thing? I have no doubt people try to make it work. Maybe you need to have one Horseman on the board. And when your opponent can't kill it, next turn Beardo and combo. Burgly Bully coins or divine shield for a setup might be enough.
