Mage has Rhonin out and plays Ragnaros the Firelord. I start working on taking Ragnaros out, but don't have enough burst to do it that turn. Then she plays Sneed's Old Shredder. I draw into something that will enable me to take out both Sneed and Ragnaros, so I decide to do Sneed first just in case whatever legendary pops out of Sneed is even worse than Ragnaros. So I take out Sneed, and guess what pops out? A second Ragnaros. I can't believe it. I take out the first Ragnaros, the second is still alive. Guess what? It gets worse.
Next turn, I manage with everything I have to take out the second Ragnaros. Turns out the secret the Mage has out is Effigy, and guess what equal-cost minion it summons? Kel'Thuzad. So now I am looking at that, the still-living Rhonin, and my THIRD Ragnaros already that game.
As you can probably imagine, I died soon after that. FFS...
Not the first time I hear this same story but funny nonetheless. As someone who mostly plays Control Warrior I have my share of crazy stories with Brawl both bad and good outcomes :P
Have you ever seen that Best of Brawl video on YouTube? From that channel that does a ton of "Best of [Card]," "Most Epic Hearthstone Moments," etc. videos? I can't remember the name right now but they are really entertaining.
I was playing against a control warrior with a legend card back, which I confess usually intimidates me because I've never gotten above rank 11 (yet). We each had about 8 cards left in our decks, so it was pretty far along in the game, and I think he had about 12 health and I had about 16. I had a board full of minions out, including Kel'Thuzad, Sludge Belcher + one of its deathrattle 1/2s, and a Sylvanas Windrunner, and my opponent had out only an Armorsmith. He then used Brawl and I thought - oh crap, this is IT - and then my Kel'Thuzad won the brawl and my opponent immediately conceded. I couldn't stop laughing. I wish I had been recording the game SO badly. I did get a quick screen shot, but it doesn't really show much since he conceded before all of my minions could finish re-spawning.
Thanks, everyone - sorry to not reply individually, I had a long reply written up with individual replies/answering everyone's questions for me, and then we lost power and it all vanished just as I was finishing it up. I got unexpectedly called into work earlier and now I am just feeling way too fried to write it all up a second time. I will later on if I have the mental energy for it. :)
I sincerely appreciate all of the kind replies though (and might also be side-eyeing a certain person's judgmental ones, but that's okay). To those of you who did offer to add me on HS, I'd love that, and please let me know how I can add you! :)
Keep them until you need the dust immediately. Try to use them in a few decks they are actually fun :) but not competitive.
Well, if I were to dust all 3 I'd have enough dust (combined with what I have already) to craft 2 legendaries of my choice. And I want to climb in ladder, I'm tired of being eternally stuck at rank 14-16... hence the temptation to dust these! But I also haven't decided yet which exact two other legendaries I'd want. I do have a bunch, but it feels like some of the key players are missing.
I have a few legendaries now that I'm just not sure I see much use for/if they're valuable enough to be worth keeping, when there are so many cards I'd like to buy if I had more dust... but I want to make sure before I dust them that I'm not just failing to see some amazing way to use them I'd never thought of before. What are your thoughts on these? How would you suggest using them?
Wth am I doing wrong? This deck is so terrible. I seriously lose on turn 5 or 6 and can't do anything. I've played 15 games and won 2. This deck is just weak.

Worked on 2nd try, thanks!

The two long stories posted in this thread. OMG. Favorite thread of all time.

Usually RNGesus hates me - like, a few weeks ago, I played a game where my Piloted Shredders gave me a Darnassus Aspirant and a (poorly timed) Doomsayer, while my opponent (a Mage with an Antonidas deck) got a second Archmage Antonidas and a Fjola Lightbane from her Unstable Portals - but I feel like this one just evened out alllll my bad RNG from the past! XD
