Funny thing is now we see 75% zoo on the ladder and both juicy psychmelon and dreampetal florist are seeing no play at all (they were top #2 and #3 rated cards).
All the hype and fuss about nothing.
As druid really happy with the new 5 drop though, good to have me annoy o' tron back by me side. Good in both maly durid & token. Ty blizz
Testing it on rank 4 with malygos druid. So far I experience a big drawback from using it early on. Now testing with Floops Glorious Gloop and and giggling inventors (seems good anti aggro stall so far)
So today I am playing my malygos deck with dreampetal & floop in my deck. With both malygos and floop in my hand I dropped my dreampetal florist on turn 7.
My Floop got discounted from 4 to 0 mana cost, I think great, soon I can play it for free.
I dropped Malygos on board, and WTF my floop was now a 4 mana copy of Malygos instead of 0 mana... WTF Blizzard?? Why do you break this game for me??
I think Blood Razor is a better option in comparison to Molten Blade (You can't depend on it to be good, and alot of aggro will be seen in the upcoming meta).
First of all most of the time you either win against aggro or you lose against aggro. You can completely dominate the game and have answers for everything in your starting hand and obliterate them or they can have the most insane godlike curve ever and totally obliterate you. Having 1 or 2 armor smiths will not help you with that, and you won't get to the late game to generate any amount of noticeable armor from them. Armorsmith in itself is not our wincondition but a tool to help us survive and manage our resources more efficiently.
All in all I think that we can both agree that playing against aggro is really not that favourable of a matchup for most of the control decks. 47-55% winrate is where it is at.
Armorsmith might help you alleviate the pressure against aggro decks like pirate warrior, but it does nothing against aggro druids. What are you going to do with your armorsmith when they play cryptlord or druid of the swarm? Gain 2-3 health? What is your armorsmith going to do when a pirate warrior plays frothing or kokron elite or even bloodsail raider. Armorsmith is an attempt to stabilize later in the game once you have succesfully managed to survive the early assault against aggro, at which point you will have won the game already, with or without it.
Ticking abomination on the other hand comes down at turn 3 with coin or turn 4 without coin. It prevents your opponent from slapping a frothing on board because it kills it efficiently. It prevents your opponent from playing kokron, because it kills it efficiently. It obliterates druid of the swarm. It kills cryptlords relatively efficiently. It even lets you deal with bittertide hydra on turn 5 very efficiently. These are the problematic cards you see in aggro most of the time, and ticking abonimation lets you deal with it perfectly. Furthermore it also gives you a pseudo whirlwind effect to help cycle your acolytes in case you run out of whirlwinds effect.
And all the above only applies to aggro. In a world where jade druid, razakus priest, big priest run rampant, aggro decks who are soon to get nerfed are only the least of our worries. Having armorsmiths in those matchups does not help you at all, whereas ticking abonimation gains you insane tempo, gives you favourable two for 1 trades, let's you use your resources much more efficiently, gives you more cycle, and overall gains you much more health than armorsmith.
Ticking abomination prevents you from losing that much health in the first place. Armor smith seems like it gains you a lot of armor, after you already lost a lot of health because of it.
Ehm. No, I'm not seeing this happening. Maybe for fun and ranks 25-10 but not from 10-legend.
As the most populair wild druid deck of this moment, I want to note that I can not say whether the deck will be playable or not after the innervate nerf hits in. It will mean that the coin innervate combo astral will be playable ONE turn later than normal, which will have a big impact especially against aggro decks. However, while innervate and also win axe get nerfed, two of the top tier aggro decks will be played less. A control meta may be ahead of us which is a good thing for who wants to play this deck.
Only time will tell, I will do testing after the nerfs kick in and update here. This deck did weakest against aggro druid, murloc paladin and pirate warrior, so I hope 'THE DREAM' will survive.

Play ctrl warlock or oddrogue, they can usually fk my games up as malydruid, as not much minions on board for spreading plague like with zoo

I stopped running the dreampetals and works better now. Too bad I was really excited about dreampetal florist card.
Now running with floop & weapon for good combokill

What's the reason to run floop & dreampetal florist in the same deck now?

And Blood Razor has synergy with the acolytes. You need something for board clear (1 or 2 health minions)

I wouldn't recommend ticking abomination. 2x armorsmith is way too good and is a must have

Thank you! It is indeed a really fun deck to play. I hope Blizzard rethinks their innervate nerf, but I don't have much faith in that...
