And since Even Hunter won't have access to Kill Command, there is less slot competition than you might imagine.
Will Even Hunter be good though? With no access to Unleash the Hounds, Spellstone, Eaglehorn Bow. And even the two hard removals Deadly Shot and Crushing Walls. All are odd cost. I don't even think that Even Hunter would make it out of theory crafting.
This card I think is potentially completely insane. Imagine playing a high pressure deck, and you slam this down. Now your opponent has to only deal with partially what you have. And if they play three cards the card reimburses the pressure you have on the board.
On top of that this card is the counter to Echo as a mechanic. I think this card has two fates. Absolutely insane, or trash. And no in between.
I find this card quite interesting. No I'm going to go on a limb and say it isn't going to be played. Not because it is a bad card, I think its a relatively powerful card, but the class it is in makes it fairly weak. Now if this was in almost any other class I could see it as an auto include, but in hunter this card is just pure removal and doesn't offer any pressure. It will end up competing for spots like Kill Command and Flanking Strike. I'm not saying the situation will never come up. But if you are getting the discount you already need to have something to trade into, either it be some other removal, a weapon charge, or a minion. Just for board control. This card doesn't offer any sort of advantage. I think the most similar card to this was Arcane Blast. Where if you were playing it you could play a spell power minion then hit something for 4. But if you needed it was always 1 cost. And it is going to come up where there is a situation where you need to play this at 4 mana. And 4 mana for 4 damage is pretty terrible.
I was watching Savjz playing a Mill Rogue and he was playing one copy of Shadowcaster I think is correct. Since its like an extra Shadow Step. You don't to end up feeling bad about playing a Shadow Step on a Coldlight Oracle earlier just to dig through your deck. I also liked his thought process on how to deal with Jades. Hero Power is for 1/1s, Backstab for 2/2s, 1 copy of Shadowblade for 3/3s, Evis for 4/4s, and Shadow Strike for 5/5s and everything else gets sapped.
I really do wish Hearthstone would introduce some sort of side board. This would be on of the cards in mine because I think its on the fringe of "almost good enough on its own" and "excellent tech card".
First thing that came to mind. Combo enabler, 1 drop that also gives you a 1 drop. Probably terrible to do so, but it seems Rogue's combo mechanic is further getting pushed away.
Made an account just to comment about this deck. After many unsuccessful tries with nearly all the other decks (and one successful attempt), I see this one pop out and decided to give it a try. Wish this list was up a few days ago because it completely trivializes a rather tough fight.
First try, 0 problems. Completely destroyed the boss.

He said he gathered the entire team. Then showed 2 people. So it is just him and 2 people who basically worked on the entire Monster Hunt?

What happens when you draw a spell from Book of Wonders?

Deck I want to see happen. Elemental Rager Shaman. Deck that will likely happen Reno-less Reno N'Zoth Priest.

This deck is pretty cool, been having some bad luck. And after some changes it is feeling somewhat streamlined. I cut one Argent Protector, Stand Against Darkness, Blood Knight, one Truesilver Champion, and one Argent Horserider. I added in one Forbidden Healing, two Defender of Argus, Tirion Fordring, and Justicar Trueheart.
The Forbidden Healing was added in because some close match-ups in my experience came down to me losing because of a lower health total.
