I think the most troubling part was about Nat, the Dark Fisher activating more than 50% of the time. I wonder if there are other odds that aren't completely random. Like how do we know knife juggler is working correctly?

EbonyMaw posted a message on Legendary Priest Card Reveal - Madame LazulPosted in: Newspretty nice! not a super good game breaking OP card, but balanced, and fair.
it costs 1 extra mana than the stats would imply, so that you can discover a card and get some information of your opponents deck (which will be useful in control matchups).
maybe not the best card in aggro matchups, but it is decent.

Wailor posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 9.09 - Submission TopicPosted in: Fan CreationsThis is based on Dungeons and Dragons moral alignments, which are also kind of a meme . Priest was the perfect class for this, because of their dichotomy between Light and Shadows.
- Lawful-Good Alignment lets you heal for a lot, but it's the weakest version in terms of tempo. Lawful-Good characters are usually protective and conservative, so it makes sense that they want to stall the game as long as they can.
- Chaotic-Good Alignment gives your minions a net total of +3 Health, while also leaving them damaged to enable healing synergy. Chaotic-Good characters have good intentions, but their actions often have unitended consequences. Thus, they help your minions but also damage them.
- Lawful-Evil Alignment is similar to Dragonfire Potion , but it's very efective against Divine Shields and Deathrattles. Lawful-Evil characters are often portrayed as dictators and repressors, so even minions with protective mechanisms are at mercy of their iron fist.
- Chaotic-Evil Alignment is a cheaper Twisting Nether that doesn't destroy Divine Shield minions. In D&D, Chaotic-Evil was usually depicted as a force of pure destruction, which is basically what this option does.
The fact that this card is a 7 mana board clear isn't unintentional: it was also designed as an alternative version of Psychic Scream .
Thanks everybody who gave me feedback. I couldn't implement all your suggestions because they were very diverse, but I really appreciate the gesture.

Truffles20 posted a message on New Card Reveal - Shallow GravediggerPosted in: Card DiscussionEveryone saying its trash. Then I think to myself WAIT A MINUTE!!! This thing can actually get every single class a tirion or a savannah highmane and if you are playing in wild than holy cow that is a lot of insane deathrattle cards you can get from this guy. You know what I am going to call it. This is going to be a stonehill defender or a caverns below card. A card that is written off by everyone as trash and ends up being rage inducing.
Never ever underestimate how stupid random effects can be. Its got 1 health, well that is the point because it is suppose to die and if it takes something out with the 3 attack than that is a bonus. And if it gives you something like a tirion, a highmane, if you are a control deck than playing around potentially every single class having a highmane or tirion is fun right? Or if you are playing in wild you can get a sylvanas, sludge belcher, deathlord, Piloted Shredder.... in wild this card is going to be stupid. In standard it will make someone rage quit by giving someone a random powerful deathrattle.
I know somebody will probably start giving percentages of the odds of this card getting you an insane deathrattle and even though percentage wise it may be low, it is really hard to play around random effects. I don't usually say this or normally even like saying this, but this card could end up being really cancerous.

Omsimilian posted a message on Odd Paladin #175737Posted in: Odd Paladin #175737This deck changed my life.I have never felt better in my life since i started playing this deck.Brain fog disappeared, my depression went away, I became a new man. I even went outside and visited my local Fireside Gathering™️.I saw a beautiful girl there.I approached her with the words "Well met" and we instantly clicked. She is an aggro paladin player too!
Anyway,we player a few games and went back to my place. Things got a bit hot and I lost my virginity to her.
idk man maybe you should try something simpler?

Wild Aggro Druid would love this card. Having cards like Living Roots and Power of the Wild able to summon more minions or buff your minions multiple times is quite huge. A huge boost for the archetype.

Nope.
Rush was introduced with The Witchwood, which was the first set of the Year of the Raven.
Lifesteal was introduced with Knights of the Frozen Throne, which was the second set of the Year of the Mammoth.
