Rewatched a Warcraft movie which i find really good. And the question is how do YOU like it or not? What do you think of possible plot development? Or maybe you think the whole movie is a huge flop?
I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Was pretty much saved at the box office by China I believe which means we may get a sequel.

I had to stop it 20 minutes in because my 7 months old kid was causing mayhem in the kitchen. It's been over a month now, so I guess I didn't enjoy the first minutes enough.

They got about $47k worldwide gross. Frankly speaking i doubt this number is enough reason to continue the franchise....
I watched for the first time yesterday evening and found it enjoyable. I´ve only played Warcraft until W3, and never played WOW, so most of my lore knowledge cames from HS.
In this regard, I´ve found it very funny the number of HS references Imanaged to pick out, such as Medhiv telling Kadghar to "Protect the King". Does anyone know if there is a list of direct HS refferences on that movie?
I don't know much Warcraft lore at all, but I think the movie is really confusing. The romance between Garona and the Lothar is kinda forced, 9/11 imo.

I'm pretty sure disguisedtoast posted a video on youtube that shows all the hs references. Things like a Summoning Stone and a Harvest Golem in the background, etc.

Some familiar characters shown: Antonidas, Gromm Hellscream, Moroes, Medivh (as mentioned), Gul'Dan and a Murloc with Harvest Golem cameo dedected.
I didn't think whoever played Medivh did the best job, and that final confrontation felt rushed, but my god did Duncan Jones appeal to Warcraft nerds like a champ.
As someone who is mostly familiar with the Warcraft universe through Hearthstone and further research that I've done for the WCDC, I found it very enjoyable. I can certainly see how someone who is unfamiliar with the universe would struggle to keep up, but overall not a bad movie.
I couldn't speak to its lore accuracy or anything, but the story it did tell was fairly good. I enjoyed the art style of the movie, though I know a lot of people didn't.
Oh yeah the biggest Lore change is that frostwolved actually took part in the first war at all.
They were banished to the alterac mountains in lordaron by Gul'dan.
Durotan and Drakka got killed when they traveled south to Ogrim Doomhammer to warn him about the corruption of Gul'dan and his shadow council and that Blackhand was their puppet.
Lord of the Clans is one of my favourite books of whole warcraft novel franchise! It is strange that i did not remember those events while watching the movie...

Hey guys!

I thought it was great, didn't deserve the bad ratings it got
My only problem with it would be the whole Lothar and his son storyline it wasn't needed and it wasted a lot of time
Where's the vote for "this doesn't belong on this website"?

I am Mal'Ganis! I am a TURTLE!!
Super meh
I was being sarcastic, I apologize that that wasn't clear.
I really liked it.

According to the Warcraft lore, is it close enough or maybe there are some Inconsistencies took place?
Brazillian?

WTF does "It is just another one-off money cut off..." even mean?
